I called my order in at 2:20pm. First I get interrupted by the lady on the other end to hold that she needs to get the manager to fix my order...which I hadn't finished giving her. I waited on hold for a good 3 minutes before some guy picked up the phone and took my order. He informed me that it would take 15 minutes which was fine with me as I was still waiting to clock out from work. I arrive at Riverside Pizza at around 2:45, pay for my food....and wait. As I am waiting I see the guy who I assume was the manager handling his phone and food with ungloved hands. I see the kid in the back who looks like he is making pizza dough look at his phone every 2 minutes. As I finally am handed my pizzas and salad I see the clock over the drive thru window turn to 3:18. I think that maybe everyone working is new employees and I cut a little slack for the lengthy wait on my order. I get home and as I open up my Papa Pan pizza I see ladles full of sauces splashed all over the pizza. Not the ordinary amount that I have had many times before. This was easy to over look as I don't mind there pizza sauce. I proceed to take my first bite of pie just to find out that my pizza, which I stood for a half hour waiting for was raw in the center.I am a big fan of Riverside Pizza, but I will bypass the one on Sugarloaf Parkway from now on as they have become a disappointment. Next time I get in the mood for one of their pies I will go to the one on Riverside Drive. There is never an excuse to mess up something as easy to make as pizza.
EVERYTIME !!!! I come here something is wrong !!!! It use to be really good but now it’s always bad or they forget something … Today I am over it …. I ordered 2 large pepperoni pizzas extra cheese … I have to wait 20 mins but that is ok for my food to be correct …. I get home and open the boxes and I have overcooked cheese with more sauce than cheese !!!! You should get what you pay for and then I call they refund my money but I’m like can I come get my pizzas redone like this was dinner for my family and the guy is like you can but you will have to pay … like what about the inconvenience and no dinner !!! Thanks for nothing and you have lost a customer I don’t care how affordable the pizza is !!!!
I have been going to Riverside on Sugarloaf for a long time..Over the past couple of months, each visit has gotten worst. Their rating continues to drop, (80 something B) (didn't see that red flag until I walked out) which after seeing today, I understand and will not be back. After waiting for 30+ minutes, I was given cold pizza that was undercooked.. (which could easily be put into my oven at home bc I have done it before) But they burned my first order of wings and then sent me home with cold undercooked wings instead... I wish I would have just kept the 1st order. People don't have pride in their work, especially the kids.Business owners are just hiring whoever shows up.. As a business owner, be selective... If you can't find someone good at the time, roll your sleeves up and make sure your reputation in the community remains high!! Food for thought since mine is cold and undercooked...
I used to always go to this place and it was pretty good. The customer service was never really great but it was okay. But recently I have called numerous times and nobody answers the phone lol. So I guess no pizza?
It finally happened. For a couple of years now I overlooked the increasingly bad customer service because the pizza was really good. I looked past the last 4 times I tried to order on the phone, no one answered. Picking up tonight's order I noticed that the phones were mysteriously silent. So I called from the lobby. It rang, but I heard nothing. They muted all of their phones. None of the employees looked the least bit concerned about anything and moved around in slow motion. It wasn't even busy. I was the only person in the store for 20 of the 30 minutes I waited. Then, it happened. Not only did the pizza look terrible (huge bubble, parts of the pizza burned, actual burned bubbles..) but they messed up the order, and worst of all, it tasted horrible. Such a shame. This place was my family's go to for over a decade. As I walked out the door I noticed that there's a new Marco's Pizza across the street. I am so sorry that we won't be ordering from Riverside anymore.
Personally i love riverside pizza, but i have never had an experience like this one in my life. We were told that our food would be ready in 15 minutes and ended up sitting in this parking lot for 40 minutes and nobody brought our food out to us like they stated they would. We were not given the proper intel on the breadsticks since now the sauce is an extra 90 cents! And our pizzas were supposed to be a large and they look like mediums. Im highly upset and will not be recommending anybody to go here.
VERY disappointed in the quality of this pizza. As soon as I opened the box, i knew i should have gone with my first instinct and gone with the "hot 'n ready" guys down the street. Will NOT be going back there.
Apart from being one of the (now former) frequent customers at this place, a few of my last orders have all looked similar to this one or even worse. However, as a human who makes mistakes, I've decided to let it slide once, twice, even three times, but this last time ordering at this place quite frankly made me sick! This pizza, who I am hoping was made by someone who knows what they're doing, unfortunately looks like it was made by a toddler. Nonetheless, to prevent from potentially causing unwanted attention or even making a scene if I was to return this order, I've concluded to simply let it go, and never again come back. Also, if you've thought of trying this place out because you're maybe new to the area or whatnot, think again! (:
Placed a phone in order. Arrived 10-15 min after and they said another 15.Waited in my car for 20 because they said they will bring it out.Didn’t come. Went inside to find my pizzas on the counter and they were still waiting for one more of my pizza. My pizzas were cold when I got them !
Riverside Pizzas are said to be famous for they serve at moderate prices and very tasty one. I came to Cumming, GA, three weeks back and having come to know about Riverside Pizza I wanted to taste it and to know the reality. So ordered Pizza from its take home store, situated at 3030, Old Atlanta Road, Cumming, GA. I ordered for two family pack Veggie with two toppings of Cheese, Green Peppers, Black Olives and Tomato. The delivery was fast and as soon as I opened the Box, I could not resist and started tasting it. It was so tasty and yummy. They are maintaining the quality and the price they have promised when they started this. I am satisfed with the taste and the reputation they have build up.
