Nice place and workers, however the steak tastes like steakums from the supermarket. 5 stars if that's what you like, however there are wayyyyy better tasting options around the county. Some that use Real steak & real steak mixtures whether frozen or fresh. The reason they received 3 stars is if you like chicken Phillysteak s. I had "the works" and It was very good! The other reason they received 3 stars was due to the price. It is comparable to the size you choose (there are 3 options) to purchase, rather than $12-20 for whatever Philly you order at other establishments.
Philly Swiss cheese didn't have any kind of sauce on it. Tasted mediocre at best.
Average level Philly. Low rating because the dining room has TVs blaring 24 hour news. The drive through speaker is so loud everyone in the restaurant can take the order. So instead of a nice dining experience, you get to listen to speaker static and TV pundits criticize people.
I lived in Lawrenceville for more than 10 years. Always see this place going home, and I finally decided to try it. I went through the drive through thinking it would be faster but no, it took more than 15 mins to get my sandwiches. (Regular Philly, chicken parm sandwich and a kids philly). I live 6 mins from them so I took it home. The Philly was not what I expected. The whole sandwich was dry and not enough meat and barely any cheese. The chicken parm was a little better but my first impression was tainted. I will not be going back.
There's a drive thru and they food was cooked right in front of me!! Older fella with the bandana was super sweet too
Inside was dirty, but food was good. The front of the restaurant needs a good scrubbing.
I used to love this place. Good luck getting ANYTHING from their menu now. I only go there for 3 things. The Philly,birch beer, and stuffed spuds. Like I said. Good luck. I’ll never go here again after the last FOUR TIMES they’ve been out.
The guy was really friendly. Made sure our fries were hot! Love Philly connection.
The food is fresh, hot, and delicious. The owner is so kind. The portions are substantial and there are a variety of sandwich sizes to choose from.
The sandwiches are made fresh so there is a little wait time but it's worth it. Very good sandwich and fries.
