I was a bit skeptical about this place with the mixed reviews. I'm glad I gave it a try! We came for a late lunch so the place wasn't really busy. Maybe that made a difference? Overall, our food was really good. For entrees: Kimchi Fried Rice and Truffled Mushroom Pasta. The rice was a portion enough for two! My only complaint was the mussels seemed to be on their last leg. Very strong, fishy smell! Otherwise, all other seafood in the dish (JUMBO shrimp and calamari) was fresh. The mushroom pasta was a bit salty but good. We also had salads: Harvest and Caesar. The Harvest salad was delicious, with fresh greens, strawberries, shaved almonds! The Caesar was really good as well. Also, watch your receipt. We ordered flavored ice tea (NO alcohol, just mango and peach ice tea) and we were charged an "alcohol tax" because they considered it a "mocktail"! It wasn't much but since when is ice tea a bar drink?! They also charge you a "non cash" charge if you pay with a credit card!

Tried Parkside District for the first time to celebrate our anniversary and was happy with our choice. I had the herb-seared salmon and my wife had the kimchi seafood, both of which were prepared to our satisfaction?. Our server Grace was super pleasant, courteous and attentive during our visit and checked in on us at regular intervals ??. The service we received made the visit that much more special.I would definitely recommend this place for fine dining in a relaxing atmosphere.
Always a great experience. Customer service is always top notch!! Had the shrimp and grits, strawberry shortcake with strawberry ice cream and a strawberry basil lemonade drink with white rum. All good. No long wait. Food prepared and brought out in reasonable time.
Our dinner was great! We started with Hummus as an appetizer. It's served with pita bread, celery, sliced pepper, whole chipotle peppers and sliced cucumber. We ordered the Market Fresh Fish(Blackened Red Snapper tonight) and Shrimp&Grits. Everything had an appealing presentation and tasted great! Attempted to order the peach cobbler but, it was sold out. We'll definitely return.
The family decided to take the hubs out for brunch to celebrate Father's Day. He tried shrimp and grits and I had the braised spare ribs. The ribs were tender and flavorful served over a silky mash of potatoes and parsnips. The hubs noted his grits were very creamy. The strawberry limoncello was just the right amount of sweet and tart.
Oh my! This is the best kept secret in my backyard. The ambiance of this place will sway you. Customer service is superb. We ordered the Salmon Crocakes appetizer. I have never had salmon cooked to a fluffy non fishy texture and taste over lettuce. My sis ordered Shrimp and Grits. I ordered Catfish with fries and Collard Greens. Oh my is all I can say! Exquisite lunch!!! I will definitely be back❤️
My son took me here on yesterday which was the day after Mother's Day. We really didn't want to be in the Sunday crowd and opted for the day after. This choice was such a pleasant surprise. We arrived at approximately 2:30 P.M. There was a moderate crowd, but we were seated quickly. Our server was very knowledgeable and suggested some awesome dishes. We started with the calamari and cornbread which was amazing. We also had the smoked gouda grits which I enjoyed but were a bit too rich for my son. He had the lamb and his girlfriend had the entree with the red snapper while I had the popular pasta dish with the crawfish, mussels and shrimp. It was really good. Our glasses stayed filled and the food was hot. This is a nice little spot that I would visit again to try some other dishes.
