I’m never stepping foot in Golden Crust again. Ovations Caribbean Grill is the real deal. The cabbage without a doubt stole the show, right behind the peas and rice. I had the jerk chicken which was moist and flavorful ( no gravy needed). My wife had the brown stew chicken, which was without a doubt the best I’ve had outside of Jamaica.. we have lived in this area for 7 years and have never set foot in here until today. And this is NOW MY FAVORITE CARIBBEAN FOOD PLACE!!! Prices are reasonable, food was delicious, staff was gracious and the restaurant including the bathrooms were clean. So if you are in the area stop by and enjoy a delicious meal for lunch or dinner.

Ovations has become a staple in the city of Lawrenceville and it’s environs.. Good food , great customer service ! They are so creative with the dishes that they offer! My favorite is the jerk shrimp fried rice ! I love the ambience there ! Once u enter u instantly feel like apart of the family ! Keep it up !
Flies, flies flies!!! Walked in got attacked by flies and left ASAP!!! Updating to reply to the owner. Just for you I am DEFINITELY coming back ONLY to take pictures of the flies. Trust and believe I support black businesses and have NO reason to lie at all!!! It would behoove you to get some fly catchers instead of TRYING to come for me and when I do come in I will be MORE THAN HAPPY to show YOU the flies and let you know who I am...VERY REAL!!!
This place serves some of the best food I’ve tasted! Everything tastes delicious! The curry Mac changed my life. I’ll be back
The name speaks for itself, I’ve been in the local area for about 8 years now & Ovations is by far the best Jamaican Cuisine with the customer service to match. Most places have good food but terrible customer Service so it doesn’t make you want to spend your money. Ovations sets the bar high! Thank you!

When I moved to Lawrenceville GA I would tell everyone that the only thing I'm gonna miss about the Bronx NY is the Jamaican restaurant on every corner. Saying that to say due to the restaurants being in such close proximity the competition is very tight there. Due to this every restaurant had to be on their A game at all times. It wasn't until two years after being down here that a friend introduced me to this restaurant. I was so mad at everyone else for not telling me about I sooner. My favorite meal to order is that oxtail rice, I just can't seem to get enough of it. Lol
If you love Jamaicans cuisine, good, tasty or excellent doesn't describe how amazing the food taste at Ovations Caribbean grill. The delicious smell alone will drive you crazy. I wanted to buy everything because everything looks great.... I'll be back... must try the Jamaican Mac and cheese jerk style...Lord have mercy.
Prices need to be updated. Oxtails we’re 20.99. They no longer offer the side. I’ll update my review when I taste the plate. Hopefully it’s a good serving amount.
