Four of us arrived around 5:30pm and were seated promptly at a table with 4 other people who had arrived earlier. We had a combination of steak, shrimp and scallops, along with the rice, salad and soup. Along with drinks, our bill came to $192 before tip, or just about $50 per person.
I use to love this place but not after today first off they charge a 18% gratuity for dine in and 12% for take out. I ordered the shrimp and scallop hibachi I literally got 2 scallops and 6 shrimp mind you this meal is almost 30 dollars...such a big disappointment this will be my last time eating here
I just wanted to give a special shoutout to the waitstaff and especially the host Felipe that worked on Mother's Day. The restaurant was packed and the table next to us had an issue with the grill not working properly. They handled it so well even while the customers were frankly being unreasonable and rude. They all kept their cool and tried to do everything possible for that group. Our waitress Ariyana ( so sorry for spelling this probably wrong) was amazing and the food was awesome! It was a great way to finish a very special Mother's Day, we will absolutely be coming back here!
This place never disappoints, always has great tasting food. The visit tonight is a little better with a very pleasant server, Irina! The tall chef cooked my fillet and scallop perfectly! The fried rice was tasty and my all time favorite ginger salad was delicious! Vegetables were also cooked to perfection! Will be back again!
Art the chef was great. He was ingaging and friendly. The waiter and waitress on the other hand needs some work. Our drinks were left empty on the table while we ate. The coke had no syrup, it was just soda water. And the soup and salad came out right as we were getting our rice out.All in all I'll be back, the food was good, but hopefully they will have better wait staff.
I'm only giving one star because I have to. This place is horrible with customer service! I walked in to place a "to go" order. The manager seated me, my small child, and my sister.I listened to him ask a server four plus times to service our table. The server (unfortunately I did not get her name) never came to our table. She pointed at us. She looked at us. She never came. A different server ended up coming to take our order. By this time we had been waiting over twenty minutes. After an hour of waiting for the food, I asked the manager what the estimated time was to bring our food out. He told me he'd go check.Shortly after, the server who took our order was screaming at him from the kitchen. She then came out with the server who refused to take our order. They were pointing and looking at our table. We decided to call them over and ask if there was a problem. The server said the issue was the manager mixed our table up with another table, which somehow messed our food order up.We received the food, and was ready to pay. What's this added to the check? A mandatory 12% gratuity for "to go" orders.I didn't see that on the menu anywhere, so I asked the server why it was on there. She stated, "there's a huge sign when you first walk in. You're free to go look at it"I attempted to ask another question to her, but she put her finger up at me and walked away.I walked to the front to look at the sign.It was roughly a 8x10 picture frame that was sitting on the shelf at the check in station. It was not hugely noticeable. However, it was there. I believe it's strategically placed where it is, so that it cannot immediately be seen.I talked with the manager while my sister took my child to the car.The server ran to the front yelling, "she didn't pay her tab but she just walked out the door".I said, "mam, she went to take my daughter to the car. I'm still standing here ready to pay the tab after I speak with the manager about your terrible service. "She walked away. The manager seemed extremely nervous and unable to manage his subordinates. He did comp the gratuity. By the way, it was my birthday. I ordered food for my guests who were waiting at my home. The food was good. However, I will not be back to this establishment.
Today we decided to have sushi we went to another place in Snellville but they will close for lunch so we found another spot and it happened to be this place here that I'm reviewing. This place specializes in hibachi and sushi, we didn't want to sit where they do the hibachi we really only wanted sushi so it took about 15 to 20 minutes before we will see it because they were mostly catering to The hibachi side of the restaurant. But all in all when we receive it it didn't take long for us to get all orders in, the food came out in perfect timing and my God the sushi was the absolute best I have ever eaten and also if you're hungry get the large hibachi fried rice but if you have a smaller appetite get the small the portions are way bigger than they seem to be. Honestly I can't wait until I go back but this time will do the hibachi side of the restaurant in order sushi over there LOL this place was magnificent and awesome!!!!
Loved the music, cocktail, ginger salad, crabstick tempura, sushi and my chicken-salmon-shrimp hibachi with fried rice and vegetables. Great birthday lunch spot!
My husband and I came in at 2:10pm. To be clear we understand they close at 3pm. The "manager" informed us they are no longer taking Hibachi or regular orders. The issue I have you close at 3pm. So if anything stopping at 2:45 I understand? I was not impressed with the customer service I received from the "manager" who made it appear he could accommodate us. It is also Valentines Day. So if anything accommodate your customers. Telling me you have to clean up etc.. then maybe your hours should change to 2pm instead of 3pm, especially if you want to clean up at 3pm.
