I took my wife to El Real Mexican Grill Restaurant, in Lawrenceville Georgia on June 10th, to celebrate her birthday. I am beyond elated to report that we absolutely had a marvelous experience. Ms. Rosy, the manager, and her entire staff was exceptional, very courteous, pleasant and professional. The establishment was not only beautiful, inviting and stunning, the food was hot, fresh and very tasty as well. My wife was extremely happy that I chose to take her there for such a special day. El Real Mexican Grill Restaurant manager made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in. The crew sang happy birthday for my wife, she and I truly appreciated it. I strongly recommend this venue to anyone who's taste bud is as distinguished as mine and to anyone who treasures great and excellent cuisine without having to break the bank. In my book, El Real Mexican Grill Restaurant deserves an A+, for it has shown excellence in all categories. A humongous thanks to Ms. Rosy and her crew for making my wife's birthday a spectacular one.
We sat on the patio at a table with a nice crisp unfaded dark blue umbrella. An of the patio tables outdoors has one of those - all looking nice. I ordered the Alhambra which was yummy but I didn't eat the "bacon" which was different from bacon I've seen and seemed more like turkey bacon. We had a good relaxed time, and I'm glad to sit outdoors and eat, and the waiter was really nice as was the manager and the greeter. We arrived after the lunch rush. Nice thing is this is next to a Kroger, so very convenient.
I adore this place!! Food is ALWAYS great along with the drinks and atmosphere!! The waitstaff is ALWAYS FANTASTIC!! I will return!!!
The food was really good, but the service was horrible. My daughter and I each ordered the exact same thing; 2 beef and 2 chicken tacos, with 1 each is soft and crunchy. All the crunchy beef were on one plate, all the crunchy chicken were on one plate, and so on with our order. We saw our server twice during the meal. It took a while to get our check and the dirty dishes were never cleared.

This place has been a second home for me for the past 3 years however the manager Rosie she well she's actually the owner's daughter she's not the most friendliest person nor does she really care about the patrons that go up there she's most the time very rude depends on what day you get her on she never orders any of the alcohol that they need in the bar they never have any alcohol or any beer the only reason why I go to this place is because of Raul the bartender he's the only reason there really anybody goes there because the food really sucks and it's hella overpriced you're better off going to Pepe's or other Mexican restaurants it just depends on the type of quality of food their quality of food is pretty poor
Never had a bad experience with food at this place. Service is fast and people are friendly who works there. Their fresh guacamole with special cheese cubes is so good!!
The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was quiet on the inside, with couples, families and friends. We sat on the patio and it was beautiful and sunny. Our server, Grecia, was fantastic! She was pleasant and helpful. Definitely will will be a go to spot.
Waited forever to be seated despite it not being busy. Slow service, had to prompt the waitress for everything. Food was barely warm.
Me and my wife enjoyed it!! We recently moved to Monticello away from our favorite Mexican restaurant don tellos and have been tryin new places with no luck. Excellent food.
