Food was okay, but was hot and fresh. I've had Jamaican food all my life and this place has a different spin on the authentic flavors, which was good just not what I expected. All in all a good shop to go to get fresh food.

Tried this place out for the first time. Had the ox tail, jerk chicken, & Rasta pasta. Ox tail came with 3 very small pieces of tail and lots of sauce. For the price $23.95+ tax, I would have expected a better portion of ox tail. The flavor was exquisite…very delicious but again the portion of tail itself was disappointing. The Jerk Chicken was way to spicy for me (and I typically eat spicy food) so be careful about asking for jerk sauce over the rice and chicken. Next time I would do the chicken but with no jerk sauce or flavor. The flavor of the chicken itself (once you rinse away the spicy jerk sauce) was very good and tender. Was not a fan of the Rasta Pasta. As you can see by the picture it was very plain and oily. Will possibly give another try on the ox tail again, hopefully portion of ox tail is better second time around.

First time - Dinner portions are smaller than competitors. Rice & peas were very good. Stew chicken was a little on the salty side.Recommend mixing the food often so it does not look like it's been sitting there for hours. Service was bland.... Left a tip not even a Thanks. Would not be rushing back too many other options around.

If I could give this place less than one star I certainly would have. I ordered 3 separate dishes. The stew chicken plate, the jerk chicken plate and the oxtail plate. In addition I was curious about the so called Rasta Pasta and so I ordered that as well. The only good thing about the food was the portion sizes (except for the oxtails which was mostly bone and fat),but the joy of receiving a generous amount of food is short lived if none if it is edible. The jersey chicken was very spicy and had a minty taste. The brown stew chicken managed to somehow be dry and wet at the same time. And even though I requested and Paid for extra gravy on my rice I did not receive it. I really hate putting negativity out into the world but they literally served it to me in the form of Caribbean food. You've been warned. The food is simply not good.

Customer service is critical when I spend money anywhere and this place lacks customer service. I had to ask the girl up front how she was doing with a smile because that's usually how people who work with the public interactions she acted as if she was there just for a paycheck and didn't want to be there, not to serve customers. She managed to squeeze out a fake smile before we left but it seemed forced . Place was clean and a nice atmosphere but the food and customer service was below average.

I don’t know if the chef there has changed but the oxtails were overly sweet and salty at the same time. And the fish was overly sweet as well with out spice. I called the manager and she did nothing. The food is just plain gross! Don’t go there! A waste of $49 !

Service is so much better now! This is my second time returning after being a frequent customer and the service, food and STAFF are exceptional in comparison to my past experiences… Bamboo is back to serving customers with kindness and a smile. There’s this one brown skin, fuller woman “new” upfront at the register and she ALWAYS has a SMILE on her face when serving me. I truly appreciate that!Thank you so much!

Very, very good Caribbean food. I may not get here but once a week but this place is well worth the drive. Great Menu featuring Oxtails, Curry Goat, Brown Stew Chicken, Red Snapper, and so much more.

I've been here a handful of times and the food is decent. HOWEVER, it seems like having a bad attitude is a prerequisite to work here. I mean I've never received a hello, how can I help you?, or any service that is remotely friendly. For that reason, I'll never spend another dime here.

Ackee whit Saltfihs are delicious ?Good service
