This was my first time visit and it was awesome all the way around. Customer service was outstanding and the food was delicious. I had the brisket and rib tips — juicy, Smokey heaven!!! Collards were exactly perfection. I can’t wait to go back.
I order the brisket and greens and another time a couple days ago had the rib tips beef brisket with Mac n cheese and greens and I had to call them personally and tell her how greatful I am because that food there is home. I definitely felt the love in that. Ty very much for your careful packaging, it came sealed and sealed with love indeed.I hope they stay blessed and continue being prosperous feeding those of us who either cannot get out or cannot cook this good. My husband and I stopped in and it was the best choice we made lol. Customer service was amazing ribs collards greens and Mac n cheese was so delicious omggg . Definitely will be returning again
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!Went in this afternoon to get some lunch with my fiance and I have to say this was probably the best barbecue that we have had while we have been in Georgia. Very much a hole in the wall hidden gem type place but the young lady who was working the counter was amazingly kind and helpful and the meal itself was absolutely incredible! The moment you walk in the door you can smell the wood smoke in the smell of meat and simply cannot stay enough about the food the sauces that we got were all amazingly good The lemonade was perfectly tart but sweet at the same time and if you're looking to for a good lunch spot with amazing barbecue definitely give this place a shot!!!
Love this place I finally got my turkey leg it was soooo good very seasoned and tender loved every bit of it and the collard greens are very well seasoned as well delicious I will recommend this barbecue joint that who is looking for a good down home barbecue place go here it's worth it . And the women that run it is very nice and warming.
I jus go the chopped chicken and it was fantastic and didn’t even put sauce on it yet!! I told the Nice lady who helped me that I would call and let her know. They must of missed my call .. just here to let you know to try that chopped chicken!!
Absolutely delicious so juicy and fall apart moist. I’m from Texas so finding BBQ that is up to par is difficult, but I found it! They even had Texas size servings I had the brisket sandwich and he had the pulled pork we shared perfectly prepared French fries. I highly recommend. Most definitely returning.
This little hidden spot USED to be great. Not sure if the joint is under new ownership, but the chicken is not what it used to be and was no where near comparable to the past two times we ordered. Today we ordered the chopped chicken, it was literally huge chunks of chicken that have been cooked to death and is immensely unpalatable. The chicken is so dry, our dog won't even eat it. I'm quite disappointed as they also have changed the recipe for the collard greens which are terribly bland and flavorless. Do yourself a favor and don't stop here for a quick lunch or dinner pick up. My husband used to eat 1lb of the chicken all by himself, but tonight we're throwing away 17.00 dollars worth of dry crusty dusty chicken hunks. ?. Sorry to say it, but I dont believe that we will not be back to this restaurant again after this experience. Side note: the staff working this evening was friendly and had the order ready at the promised time.
The meat used to be really great here, perfectly cooked and well seasoned pork and brisket, but the last 3 times we have picked up food here, the meat has been dry and with no hint of seasoning at all (like, not even salt). I don't know why they changed... the first time I thought it was a fluke, the second time I just hoped the problem was temporary, but now that it's been 3 times in a row over the last 2 months, I guess this is the new standard and they just don't have good meat any more. A real shame, as my family is keto and we loved picking up a couple of pounds of meat here every few weeks as a nice easy meal, but I'll have to be on the hunt for a new place. The rating is for the food only, as the staff has always been friendly and efficient, no problem there.
Ordered through Uber eats pulled pork and ribs tips with collards, mac and cheese, and corn bread. Mac cheese was alright. Toast I got was pretty decent. Green beans I got instead were flavorless. I got the worst end of a rack ribs, instead of actual rib tips. The hunk of what I assume was pork was most certainly not pulled whatsoever, let alone edible. Normally I could care less but this was just bad. I feel like a chump for ordering this. My trust in BBQ is tarnished. Everything I know is a lie. My God what am I doing with my life.I take it back, that mac n cheese was weak af. Craft box mac. Y'all lame
