My wife's hamburger steak was pink, so she went to the manager. He was very very helpful and nice. Not only did he refund our meals he also gave us two free hamburger steak meals and a cookie. They were delicious and the service was great. They were very busy, and anyone can make a mistake, but I've always felt that how a business responds to the mistake is very important. This establishment deserves the 5 star rating.
Don't understand what the hype is about with this place. We traveled a hour for the food and let's just say this should be a seafood only establishment, the BBQ was not good at all. We spent over $100 just to try different things, the only thing that was worth eating was that delicious catfish!
?? New customer. Seems like the place was popping for an older crowd on an early Wed lunch. Take out was pretty good. Like everywhere else take home fries are always room temp. Tried the Catfish plate while hubby tried the BBQ Sandwich plate. We liked both. Cole slaw tasted like KFC, but with less sugar (which is a good thing). Our tab was just under $24 without drinks. Why are drinks sold separately? ??♀️ Never order take out drinks, because we have drinks at home anyway. LOL I have pics! Thanks. Enjoy. ❤
I'm not going to lie the 45 minute wait in the drive thru was not worth the wait. Very disappointed for sure. I ordered a hamburger and fries and the burger was so over done when I took my first bite it broke in half and fell out of the bun. My guys and mom love their catfish, but 45 minutes was not worth a $73.00 bill.
The food is OUTSTANDING, as well as the atmosphere! Food is not expensive at all either. Great service as well. Brianna (waitress) was very courteous and helpful! Highly recommended! Kaileigh was also extremely nice!
Must be patient before dining here, it can take a while during lunch/dinner times. Apart from the long wait times, the food is delicious. From grilled chicken to the slaw dogs I've enjoyed everything from this establishment so far.The slaw dog sounded interesting and was my first pick from this place. It was tasty but the slaw made it a bit difficult to pick up the hot dog, making it soggy, buy with a fork and knife it was doable.The grilled chicken was juicier than the pork, it was my favorite from tonight. It almost melted mm! The sauce is light but flavorful and doesn't smother the meat's taste.The BBQ pork sandwhich was delicious as well, but it was chopped pork and not pulled pork like the description said, nonetheless I loved it.The catfish fillets, last I had it, was way too salty. I'm going to try to try the catfish on bones next time because I've heard it's much better.The fried chicken salad separates the chicken and salad in different containers (if you're ordering takeout) to avoid the chicken from getting soggy before getting home at least!Fries are okay, and get cold after the long wait times but were edible. Onion rings were delicious, light, crunchy, and not soggy or oily.
The food here is always good no issues whatsoever very tasty delicious and served by good people. The only area I see for improvement is the timeliness of delivery in the drive through on certain items like ribs. To me that would make this place absolute five star location and I would appreciate it cause I enjoy eating there ?
I'm not a fan of their barbecue. It chopped pork, not pulled, and they put the sauce on it in the kitchen rather than having sauces on the table.The rest of the menu makes up for it though. The catfish, hamburger steak, and ribs are fantastic.Come early if you want the lunch special. They advertise it as 11am-2pm, but it's frequently gone around noon.
The service is really going down hill, the price of the food has went up which is to expected but the taste should stay the same. I ordered a hamburger steak meal and it was just bland and disgusting. I went in for a pint of Cole slaw and had to wait about 4-5 mins to be served 1 employee outside on the phone while another waitress rambled with other customers about nothing. I had to ask if there was a cashier, for her to acknowledge me and take my order. The last couple of times I have been in it just been awful.
I normally would have given them a 5 star, but today when I ordered my food, it was not good at all. I ordered a 2 piece catfish with onion rings and slaw, the onion rings were old and over cooked, the fish was not good at all. Don't know what happened but since this is the 2nd time within the past 4 months my food was not good , I have decided not to eat here anymore.
