Such a cute coffee shop!! Absolutely beautiful interior, and the coffee was great, too! Connected to the trails and makes it super easy to make a pit stop during your walk/run/bike ride!
Local Grounds is a coffee shop you go to for the atmosphere. Their desserts and pastries are wonderful, and I love that they even have gluten free options (albeit limited ones). They have a wonderful, helpful staff that seem to always be cheerful. As a coffee fanatic, Local Grounds coffee is not the best, but it is the best coffee in town. Not to mention their varieties of syrups and sauces competes with giant corporations’. Regardless, I would go to Local Grounds over and over again. A wonderful, beautiful place and the owner is doing so much for our small town!
Today I enjoyed a walk on the thread and small lunch at Local Groundz! Love how inviting the staff is and how quick we received service. The staff was friendly and helpful even though there were a couple of customers that were impatient and rude they still treated everyone well. Everyone working this morning did a great job!
Local Groundz is a local gem of a business. The location is on the Thread with Entrances to the back and front (with good parking). Beverages, snacks n treats are delicious. Wonderful decor and Interior Design, so bright and feel good! Only thing stopping a 5* is it takes forever to get served! So don't be in a rush... My Grandson loves them cakes n cookies! Updated! 5* delicious red velvet n choc cake with an ‘icy’ red eye n coconut milk! Taco Tuesday is now Treat Tuesday! ?
This is a nice place to sit and chat with friends at. They have snacks and sandwiches as well as coffees and cappuccinos. There's also a walking path out behind the coffee shop.
Have been to the Lagrange gem several times. Today’s visit was a little different. We had seen a cake (lemon/blueberry) on their IG. We came on Thursday and found it was not available. The crew took our number and called on Friday saying they had it and would reserve a slice if we were still interested. Of course we were and they called again to follow up. This is called customer service and THIS is what sets this coffee shop apart. Kudos to the owner who we have met and spoken with. Check out Local Groundz, you will not be disappointed.
Amazing new coffee shop in Lagrange. Great staff, good selections of coffee and pastries, and a nice environment. Parking was a little difficult, but hey, that just means they're doing good business. Grabbed a t-shirt and whole beans to take back to Birmingham!

The place is relaxing. However, today I was waiting in line for 20 min and had to leave. Only 2 people working. Came back and they were out of bread and no bagels. Had to leave again. ☹️?
