This has to be one of the worst restaurants we've eaten at! Not even appealing looking and so sloppy and tasted spoiled. We're staying at great wolf lodge and decided to order out for delivery and the dinner specials we ordered was missing the chile rellenos and the tacos are soo plain and nasty. I do have to say out of all the items we ordered my daughter ordered hot wings and she was the only one who ate her meal. Such a waste of $70 worth of food! And the ranch dressing tasted old. I could of gotten better Mexican food from a fast food restaurant at half the cost.
This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant. Now , the service is non- existent. I understand the covid issues caused problems, but this place just can NOT bounce back. Be prepared to stand in the foyer for 15- 30 minutes while being ignored by " staff ". If you manage to get seated you will wait another 30 min to order. When the food finally arrives it is definitely not as good as it used to be. Los Nopales is better in every way.
Went in to grab a quick dinner before I flew back to San Antonio. They messed up our entire order of food, charged my card for our meal and some other ladies food. They also took $20 because they said I never paid. I called them to get my money back on the random ladies food that I paid for and still no call. The food is awful and I will never return back there. Being a business owner myself, I would at least call back to get the purchase of some persons food (I have no idea who the lady was) credited.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and served in Generous portions.My 2 criticisms are the bathroom was a little dingy and the front door needs to be wiped down.
I enjoyed my visit and the food was delicious, was seated immediately and our waiter was very friendly and attentive! Being from Texas I always make my first judgement of Mexican by the chips and salsa, they were perfect! Great guacamole! I would highly recommend Juanito's!
Best Mexican food I've had in a long time. Our waiter was the nicest guy in the world and the food tasted perfect and unlike a lot of Mexican places, it wasn't super greasy. Will definitely be going back.
The Nachos Supreme was amazing! The chips, salsa and guacamole were yummy too. I loved how they served their salsa with individual dip bowls and a lil’ carafe. The server was prompt and courteous. Very good experience.
Food was good not too many vegetarian options but they were accommodating. Guacamole was good. Wait staff were friendly. The outside of the restaurant sneaked pretty horrible and there was trash everywhere. In their defense the dumpsters are close.
Wanted to provide a fifth star; however, when I visited on a Sunday afternoon they were a little understaffed and the service was slightly off. Nonetheless the authenticity of the Mexican food at this establishment was well worth the wait and the hand carved decor was admirable and just as authentic.
Service was great, but the food just wasn't. The beef in tacos were tough like jerky, and the chicken soup was just okay. I will say it all looked delicious. Just not what I expected.
