I haven’t ordered from this restaurant yet but I probably will after this experience: I had a door dash order and the store didn’t have it for some reason but only the order I had, NO OTHER DOOR DASH ORDERS WERE AFFECTED, I ended up waiting 30 minutes on my customer’s order an I was kinda upset at first because it kept me from getting any other orders but it wasn’t his fault or mines. Whoever the manger was that was on duty today at 1:24 pm is the best manager ever! I don’t know his name but he handled the situation very well, while fixing the drink machine and training someone and then helping his team fix orders at the table he stayed calm the entire time an kept apologizing and GREETING EVERY CUSTOMER THAT WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR with a positive attitude. I hope he gets a raise or something. He ran the store how every manager should in every restaurant. This was a awesome team, very productive and the worked together well
Great food but the employees act like they are in no hurry to fix your food or take your order even though I always call in and place an order. There is a lady that works there (Debra I think) that lacks customer service for sure.
Ordered through Grubhub, 90 minutes later, still no food. App was showing delivered. Called grubhub, they stated that Firehouse had marked it as "self delivery", meaning they would deliver themselves, and no driver was needed. We called Firehouse, and Debra was incredibly rude, stating "we don't deliver, you are wrong." I explained that I was just relaying what was told to be by grubhub, a which point she raised her voice at me and said "well you need to get your facts straight" and hung up. Thankfully, Grubhub graciously refunded the entire order and gave me 15% of my next order. Likely won't return, due to the lack of professionalism and us never receiving our order.
Ordered the large BBQ brisket, added mushrooms. Great flavor and good amount of mushrooms. Clean tables, clean bathroom, clean counter. Very friendly staff. One of our favorite Firehouse locations.
I liked the food. The staff was nice except one. But overall good.
After finding a beautiful dress for my daughter today, I put in an online order for two subs at Firehouse Subs in LaGrange. When I went in to grab them, I saw a couple of people sitting in the lobby, but quickly realized only ONE employee was there. Was I frustrated? Yes. Was it her fault? Absolutely not…she actually came to work on time. SHE was trying…. I took a deep breath and began playing a game on my phone to pass the time. I hear her phone ringing, literally saying, “Your boss is calling.” This employee managed to answer the phone, explain that the other employee who was scheduled didn’t come in…all while taking another order. (Keep in mind, I heard both sides of this call. The manager tried to keep questioning the employee about the person who wasn’t there——realizing the employee was trying to take an order.) This made me think….hmmmm…. (At this point, I wanted to ask if I could help….but I knew that wouldn’t be allowed.) Fast forward….approximately 25 minutes. This employee gave an online order of approximately 12 sandwiches to a man, she gave orders to two men inside the lobby (who probably walked in as she opened the door). She took the order of another man and began working on my order, his, and another online order of a lady who came in minutes after me. Oh, and every time the door opened, she immediately said, “Welcome to Firehouse.” A car pulls up in the parking lot (11:45 or so) and FOUR employees get out of the car and enter the store. One of them, I’m assuming, the manager, looks at this hard working woman who is making all these orders and says, “You should’ve closed the lobby until we got here.” It takes A LOT for me to get angry. But, this “manager” (if she was that) ENRAGED me. ??Really, instead of, “Thank you for working so hard to manage all of this,” the employee receives, “You should’ve closed the lobby until we got here.” The finale….this precious worker, moments later, said, “Julie, your order is ready. I’m sorry it took so long.” ? Jesus must have helped this precious soul get my order ready before I could get my words together for this manager. (I’m sure He knows I wouldn’t do well in jail.) ??♀️ I may have YELLED to this worker, “YOU are doing a phenomenal job. I hope your manager appreciates the hard work you are doing. Thank you, and I hope you have a good day!” I wish I’d given this precious soul a $100 as a tip. God love her. (Since the “manager” arrived with three employees in her car, I realize, there may be other issues here, but if you are a manager, be on time to help ALL employees no matter what it takes.) I love Firehouse Subs, but, if I don’t see better working environments for their precious employees, I will no longer support them.
Order a sandwich with no provolone cheese, got home, it had cheese on it. I’m allergic to cheese. Thanks FireHouse Subs for being unable to make a sandwich the customer pays for. I shouldn’t have to check it before I leave, you should be able to make a sandwich the right way.
The bread was warm and soft . My daughter and husband ? their sandwiches.
