Pretty good restaurant. As pictured I had the tour of R.S. with the side of mac & cheese and greens. I really liked the meats all were moist, flavorful and succulent. I really liked the gravy as a dipping sauce but wasn't needed. The greens were a little salty but palatable I wasn't really feeling the mac the noodles were a little over done and it needed flavor. I had a nice server but it was kinda warm inside. I wasn't a fan of the pickle taste of the waffle.
We were looking for a place with a patio since we had our puppy with us and this was the perfect place. They were really nice and accommodating. Since there were no other patrons in the closed patio we were told we could let him out of the leach and he loved it. The server was very polite and attentive. The only minus point is that we ordered fries and they were not the best quality. We weren’t able to eat them as they were either fried with old oil or were old. We asked for more salad instead. Other than that we had a great experience.
Food was great! Loved the grits , red skin potatoes, and chicken. Service was very slow. To us 10 minutes to get two ice teas! Took about 20 to get appetizer, and about 30-40 minutes to get meal. Service was not good as no refill On drink, and waiter never bothered to ask how our meal was. He did take appetizer off bill as he knew I was frustrated! Sorry Cory.. you dropped the ball! I noticed you got other drinks for folks alot quicker!! Do better!
I was quite disappointed as it has a high rating in Trip Advisor. We walked in an the restaurant was extremely warm. This instantly gives me a bad vibe. If something were wrong with the air they should have a sign to let you know. There was no one at the podium, but then a young man came up and told us to sit anywhere. When we walked into the dining room the first four tables were dirty, so he grabbed a rag and started wiping them off. He took our drink order came back and said he would return in a minute. It was 10 minutes before he came back. We almost walked out. We ordered the food and it actually came quickly. The poutine was excellent. My wife had a quarter chicken white meat, with two sides. It was very good as well. Although the poutine and the sides were quite salty. Our server never came back once to check on us. At the end of our meal, he came over and we asked for a takeout box and the check. We each went to the restroom. The handle on the door to the hallway was broken. When I walked into the men’s room the floor was greasier than anywhere I’ve ever been in my life. I had to be careful not to slip. When I came out I warned my wife who went to the ladies room, and said she had the same experience. The restaurant itself does not look like it is maintained well at all. The only reason I am giving it three stars is the food was good, but a a bit salty. But the service, the cleanliness of the restaurant and the restrooms I would have given only one star.
Eaten here several times . Ordered to go over the phone at lunchtime on a Wednesday. Food was ready in 15 min as promised . Greeted pretty quickly. Lady at pickup bar was friendly and fast. Huge portions here ! I got the 1/2 Lb pulled pork with broccoli and collard greens. Brown sugar BBQ SAUCE . Definitely make sure you order a second sauce .Broccoli and collards were cooked and seasoned well . Pulled pork was tender and juicy . So much food I saved half for my lunch the next day.
It had been a few years since I ate here but my son suggested it and we gave it another try. I’m glad I did! The pulled pork poutine was excellent and my dinner strawberry salad was a perfect size (I ordered half size).. service was good as well and it was a nice day to sit outside at their sidewalk tables.
Three words. Chicken and Waffles!!Actually, everything my family and I have eaten here has been excellent. The smashed potatoes are divine. You can't beat the family picnic deals for an easy night in. Eat in, take out, you won't be disappointed.
I'm literally writing this as we're driving away! Party of 10 celebrating a 75th birthday. Absolutely INCREDIBLE place! Mandy, the general manager, was swift, SUPER friendly and just wonderful. She accommodated our party quickly and was extremely kind. Our waitress Gabby, was fantastic! She was personable and 10 orders came out exactly as we asked. She was great dealing with the children in our party. I threw a monkey wrench when we ordered our desserts as I gave her cake toppers to add to each dessert. She executed it flawlessly and it looked like the entire waitstaff helped bring our desserts out. Teamwork! The food!?! Please bow down to the kitchen staff!! We have NEVER had rotisserie food this good! Pulled pork was incredible (trust me, I eat it at least twice a month) and the portions were very generous. The desserts were so fresh and delicious... I could go on and on. The only negative I have is that I expected better conversation from my family. Instead we spent it pouring compliments over the food and stealing bites from other plates. Sooooo good. Sadly 1/2 of our party was from out of town so we'll have to resort to visiting when we're in town. Great job The Rotisserie Shop. Amazing experience. Need to finish this review. Must join the car conversation about our dinner... ; )
Food was just awesome, I had the brussel sprout appetizer, 1/4 rotisserie chicken with BBQ sauce, quinoa salad, and broccoli. Portions were very large and the food was so good. Service was also excellent.
The food is great, fresh and consistent. The broccoli is the best.. extremely flavorful and perfectly done. I've had the fries and mashed potatoes. Both were ??. Chicken is moist and well seasoned.
