All you can eat sushi on demand: Came here for the first time and was pretty disappointed. Their fish were not well preserved. I noticed a distinctive fishy smell the moment the nigiri were brought to the table. They charged us dinner price for a mini lunch on weekends. I didn’t have the gut to order second after I had the first round. I can’t imagine the rest of the dish and how fishy things are after. On top of their unpleasant taste and mini portion with reduced protein as compared to other competitors… and extra charge for not finishing up everything ordered regardless of how fresh (or unfresh) things are… I feel their strategies to deter customers were effective.
Ate here for dinner on February 15th. $23.99 per person if you choose the all you can eat route versus ordering off menu. ($54 for 2 people) Few rules. Anyone ordering off the menu is not allowed to eat the food of someone doing the all you can eat menu. Meaning you aren't allowed to share with someone not doing the all you can eat. The sushi was fresh. 4 out of 5. The miso soup I had was nice and hot. Service was great, our waiter made sure everything was the way we liked it. Food came at a decent amount of time after we ordered. Maybe 15 minute wait after I ordered. You can order as many times as you want. Paper menus are on the table for you to mark what you want at what quantity. Wasn't entirely impressed but also not completely disappointed. Not sure if I'll be back. Might stick with Fuji Sushi in Hiram.
The chicken teriyaki hibachi was delicious and the shrimp tempura sushi was amazing!! Also, the customer service was great ?
Very disappointed. Saw it had 4 stars, so figured it had to be good. The menu also made it seem like they had a wide variety and good options to choose from. However, there was barely any fish in any of the rolls (mostly rice and veggies). Service was slow but friendly. The food barely had taste and the fish did not look like normal sushi grade fish.
Sushi Yu always delivers! Very consistent and have can't beat prices for the 2 all you can eat options. Highly recommend!
Food is okay. Not bad for AYCE but there are definitely better places with similar prices. The tuna tasted metallic, and there was an excessive amount of rice to fish ratio. As a sushi lover, this place has unfortunately disappointed me.
Pretty good, as stated by other it's a high ratio of rice go fish but it's still pretty tasty. Here is a menu for the all you can eat as of 1/15/22
Positives. Service was quick and friendly. The miso and seaweed salad were well done.Negatives. The sushi was comparable to supermarket sushi. Customers would do better to spend their money at a Kroger.
This was a surprise sushi find. The miso soup was good. We had sushi, sashimi, and teriyaki with a mochi desert. The sticky rice was was the best I had in a long while. The service was prompt and professional. I’d recommend this for any family that likes good sushi.
For 6 years this has been my go to sushi place. We celebrate birthdays here. Holidays. And its the only place I can feed 3 teenagers with good food for a great price. Also, AJ is awesome!
