Waited an hour and twenty minutes for three rolls when we were one of three parties in the sit down area. The place was packed full about twenty minutes after we got there, and about 75% of the other tables were served their food before us. When we finally got our rolls, the beef on the Mongolian roll was raw. Not medium rare, not even rare. I love beef teetering on raw. This was straight up cold raw purple beef. We lost our appetite pretty quickly after that. They comped the one roll, we paid the bill, and left. Service was sparse and our waters were never topped off either. There was only one waitress but lots of table bussers who were doing a lot of standing around. I’ve worked in a restaurant before and can tell when one is having systemic problems; take my word for it, this is not a one-time occurrence. Read the other reviews from the past 6 months. Don’t waste your money.

Great food, good service, easy place to gather with family/friends for meal. Full bar. Nice koi pond outside to watch while you wait.

Wasn't too impressed with the lack of service. From walking in there was no host, only someone at the cash register behind the area.Seating was open, yet not informed about the backroom until after sitting at the bar...which had no one attending. The two people I did encounter were very sweet, yet only saw a server when she went behind the bar to make the drink and then to bring the food. Other than that there was no service. Upon waiting for a server to cash out, no one was there so walked to the front.Service is a definite 1 star experience..The food, no complaints as the salmon was tasty, and the soup was was water down. Salad was crispy, dressing was okay.Margarita at the bar lagged the liquor, mainly tasted like mixer which wasn't too appealing.Would love to see better service all around and maybe consider coming back for a better experience..

The biggest problem here was the owner. Service was fine, hibachi was average, sushi was below average. And that’s where the story begins. We took one bite of two of the rolls and found them to have a fishy odor and they tasted old. We let the manager know who offered to comp one (but not both) of the rolls. Someone came and took the plates. The waitress came and said that the owner needed to see how much we had eaten of the roll, but it had already been taken away. They offered to let us speak to the owner. When we got to the front, he had already come out of the kitchen, was waving his arms, and yelling at us that we had insulted everyone in his restaurant and then threatened to call the police. He said that we were trying not to pay the bill. We were trying to explain that they offered to comp one of the sushi rolls. He was angry, kept yelling, and got on the phone with who he said was the police. He told them that we refused to pay the bill. I’m not trying to get involved with police, so I paid the bill. It was unbelievable. I’ve never experienced anything like it. The staff were standing back looking embarrassed and one said he just didn’t like confrontation. It seemed like this had happened before. Would not recommend.

Kind of gross all around. Stopped for lunch on a Wednesday after several great visits to the Nashville location when I lived there. First, this was a pick-up order, and the prices charged were different than the online menu. The soup tasted like straight up beef broth, onion powder, and a handful of salt, and the salad dressing tasted super sweet, much more like vanilla than ginger or mustard. The fried rice was excellent, and the veggies were okay. The chicken had a heavy glazed sauce on it, without much tenderness or other flavor. Hostess was nice, but bathroom and parking lot were both kinda gross. I'd skip this one.

This is definitely the worst service I've experienced in a long time. We had reservations for 7:00pm and it still took us over a hour to be seated. Then we sat at the table for 25 minutes with no server or cook. I talked to the owner and expressed to him the service we were receiving. He was unapologetic and just responded "well we are busy". Then the server, Jillian, walked up, in front of the owner, with a trashy, nasty attitude and told me she's on the way and to go sit down and wait or we can just leave. It literally turned into an argument and she was yelling in the restaurant in order to overtalk me. The owner didn't do anything. My family still decided to stay because it was getting late and we were celebrating a birthday. Luckily, we got a different server, but the cook did not come to our table until about 9:30. Not only was the customer service horrible, but the food did not taste fresh and the floors, dishes, and stove were dirty as well. This was our first time at this restaurant. But I can assure you that our family will not return.

I watched the waitress hold a pitcher with the spout rubbing up against her jacket. My drink came in a visibly dirty glass. Absolutely disgusting. I asked for a paper cup instead. Try Volcano or Ichiban

So this used to be the place to go, the food was great and the place was clean and fun. The employees used to be nice and they used to care. It’s definitely gotten worse so we hadn’t been in a while. We tried it one last time this year. We had reservations and it was still an hour wait. The staff was at best apathetic. A few of them had earbuds in. The place is dirty, check out the pictures. The food has definitely gotten worse. Maybe it’s time for this place to close.Edit: I didn’t use the bathroom here but one guy had toilet paper on his shoes as seen in the pictures. Also, other parts of the restaurant are just black from never being cleaned. Rice from the last time was still on the skillet. The counters were sticky. They had plenty of staff standing around, maybe they could have utilized that. I know COVID has complicated the restaurant business, but this is too much.

Extremely understaffed and slow. However, our server Michelle and Chef Simon were amazing!! Thank you both for your pleasant personalities and attentive service during a very busy rush. The food was delicious! Happy New Year!

Hibachi Chef was good. 6 shrimp and about 4 oz of cut up chicken breast with a good portion of fried rice with teriyaki sauce and some veggies. Teriyaki sauce was good on the shrimp but the thicker sauce on the chicken I didn’t care for (and I Like everything). 3 people in my party. Each had the Teriyaki Shrimp and Chicken (19.99) plus a drink (the Coca Cola was flat and didn’t taste right). Total was $68.74 plus I left a real 20% tip.May have contained MSG.Upset stomach shortly after eating.
