I gave this place an honest chance and I wasn't disappointed. I loved ordering the shrimp scampi and being served.. soup. Pasta was overcooked, starchy, and bland. The.. broth was straight lemon juice and white wine.. yet the service was omnipresent with staff; waiting staff shouldn't suffer because a kitchen poorly executes a menu. Taking into account inflation, there's no reason you should charge $18+ and not execute your dishes as advertised. My advice to the kitchen.. consider how your kitchen executes it's menu and just.. have a little passion in your work. Running a restaurant is tough; don't get me wrong, but quality assurance should be sustained whether you're packed.. or serving only 3 tables.
I always gravitate to the Chicken Alfredo Sandwich. I have eaten here for over 10 years. Took a friend a bit back who go the stuffed shells and they did not disappoint. Good food here.
Wonderful place. Family friendly and very reasonably priced.Faves are the lasagna and tiramisu but everything we've tried has been excellent. They good with seating groups too. We've seen lots of large families and office groups having a great time and, of course, excellent service and food.
They don't normally serve lunch during the week but one of the members of our monthly lunch bunch group is the mother of the Chef/owner so he opened just for our group. He took our orders cooked our food and collected our separate payments l by himself. I have to say that he did a remarkable job. All of our orders were delivered correctly. They were all hot and noone had a complaint. Everyone that ordered pizza were raving. I ordered pasta with meat sauce. It was delicious and enough to bring home leftovers to my husband's delight. It came with soup or salad. I chose the house Italian salad and it was a large bowl of deliciousness. He brought baskets of garlic rolls to our very large table. I could have eaten an entire basket. They were that good. I know that restaurants are struggling right now with the rising costs of food and supplies plus the shortage of help. I, for one, will continue to support our local restaurants as long as the food is good and hot. We need these restaurants to stay in business so when we get through these terrible times, we will have a place to go.
Would give zero if I could. I understand that everyone is short staffed but we sat for a full hour. We did not get greeted for over 10 minutes, then after waiting literally 45 minutes for a beer and a cocktail to be asked if we still wanted it and then told that the kitchen hadn't even started our food yet....there were only four tables in the place. where is a manager? Where is anyone to help
The worse experience in getting someone to take our orders then forgot to bring our drinks before the food was served (35 minutes wait) I rather eat some great Italian food at Doro's where they treat customers with respect. I didn't have that experience a few years ago may they changed ownership. Think twice before you go to this place. Also, the food we got was cold and the salads also came late and even we asked for it.
We came out to this place for a night out with my wife and it started out really good. The waiter was friendly and fairly quick. The appetizers were excellent, calamari, tomato soup and mozzarella triangles. That's about the only good things I can say and it went downhill from there. Then the main course came out and I can't exactly say my pizza was all that great coming from an Italian place, I could've had domino's that tasted better. My wife had chicken marsala and the chicken was swimming in liquid when brought out. If you look it up from anywhere else it's not supposed to be swimming in the liquid. Then it went more downhill, our table behind us ordered drinks and (not the waiters fault...he's new...) he didn't get the drinks quite right and the manager or owner proceeded to correct/discipline the waiter in front of the customers....unprofessional. Now our waiter being new is flustered and took us almost an hour just to get the check to leave. We will not be back as this was almost a great experience that was quickly ruined by poor management.
This place used to be one of my favorite places to eat. The food is so good, but after my dine in experience a little over a week ago, I won't be returning for a while, if ever.We left after waiting nearly an hour to get our food. The two of us were the only people there! It seemed the cook was not interested in having to work. When I arrived and stated I'd be dining in, the look on his face when I said that was one of dread.Kayleigh was a good server, so we left her a tip, but the cook (Ford), shouldn't be employed there! He seemed to care less whether we had dinner or not.
Went last night around 7:30 with a party of 7 and I’m not sure if it was the manager or the owner but he was working alone besides 1 cook, he said he was short staffed, but he was phenomenal by himself! Even for being alone our orders we’re great and the food was hot and he never let our drinks be empty!
staff shortage is the new norm in restaurants. people that complain about it must not understand the economy. don't pay attention to complainers. wife and i had a good time and the server girl tonight was on point. i see you working hard girl! we appreciated you. food was excellent.
