I received a coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase at Newk's. When my wife and I went to the restaurant to use the coupon, we were told that this store did not accept that coupon. I don't tolerate this type of deceitful business practices where they lure you to their business with a promise of $5 off and then they don't honor their promise. I will never eat at Newk's again due to their dishonest practices.Update: Your response asked me to visit feedback.newks.com and complete the survey. I tried that and when I got to the end and I hit submit nothing happened. Not sure if they received my survey.

HELLO, do you guys seriously care?I have gone here as long as they’ve been open and have frequented other locations without issue. Last month, I placed a curbside pickup order. Placed order online, paid and showed up for pick up. Called upon arrival and was told a particular desert was sold out. Was told we could choose a different one but the one we requested we were told was “more”. Um, okay. I guess it was “easier” to do a exact trade. I requested to get a refund for the desert. Easy right? I was told it was done. Our order was brought out and wrong. Only sandwiches so we had to go in to get the 2 bags of chips that were to go with it. Fine. No worries. Well, she never processed the refund for the desert. I sent a reply via the “how’s our service”. I received a prompt response from Sasha who told me to go to a link to provide a review. Done. I received a response that the issue would be discussed with staff. Okay great. What about the refund. The signature was, let us know if there’s anything else. So I wrote back. Nope, no refund, no response. Kept in touch with Sasha and it seemed this may be worked out. Upon asking which location, Kennesaw, all communication ceased. No refund, no response. Everyone and every establishment can have an off day and that is totally reasonable and it’s okay. What is not okay is to not remedy an issue.

I ordered two shrimp and avocado salads. Neither of them contained avocado. I called and spoke to someone who claimed to be the manager who unapologetically acknowledged that they didn’t put any avocado on my salads because they didn’t have any cut up!? I asked her why wasn’t this communicated to me so I could have ordered something else. She basically said the cashiers don’t talk to the kitchen team. She also advised that I couldn’t get a refund for either salad due to my inconvenience. I waited 20 minutes for salads when there were hardly any customers in the store and then my order was wrong. I will not be returning to this location.
Loved the layout amd the complimentary condiments like the olive oil, vinegar, fresh garlic and packaged bread sticks. Very open atmosphere with nice decor. The employees were not very well trained. I had a split spicy shrimp salad and there were only about 5-6 shrimp. They brought it out in 2 small bowls which makes its hard to eat salad in small bowl. Also, it wad the wrong type of shrimp. I went to iask the employee behind the counter how many shrimp supposed to have , and they said 10. I let them know my salad did not contain that many. He told the lady who made the salad and she started making a new salad. I stopped them and let them know I just wanted a few more shrimp. They went ahead and made entire salad anyway. (That was nice). This time it was the right amount of shrimp and the right flavor.I will be back again to try different dishes.
Yet another poor review of their food delivery. The part of our order that arrived (salads, sandwich and lemonade) was great, but we were missing an entire pizza. Called in to let them know and they said they couldn’t deliver it to correct their mistake and we would have to pick it up?! That’s why we ordered delivery in the first place - so we wouldn’t have to go pick it up! After another 10 mins on the phone, they were able to refund the pizza purchase. I guess they consider that good customer service? Good food, but not worth the hassle on the delivery issues. For best results, go in store.
I love the "chicken Q" sandwich, I give it a 10 out 10. It is the secret sauce they use. The turn-around time from order to eating is about 8 to 10 minutes, the sandwich is filling and delicious. Their cakes are awesome, their rice crispy treats are ok, but lack enough marshmallow cream in the receipts to make the rice stick correctly and use a butter substitute that does not taste good. News can be pricy but the "chicken Q" is outstanding.
Some Things Are Not As They Seem. We tried this place as it is near to many businesses near the mall area in Kennesaw and seemed Iike a nice new place to try out. On the outside it looks unassuming, and a place for old people to eat at regularly. I had remembered seeing it a lot but never could remember it was there to try out. Shock of all shocks, it is new and modern inside with many young workers. They allow them to bring their ear buds so they can listed to music or books, etc.I saw you could take a number and seat yourself and order online. We tried it as the line at the entrance at 130 pm was getting a little long all at once during weekend lunch rush. We were hungry! I noticed a sign that said if you sign up for rewards program you could win $10,000. We both signed up. You can earn a free drink just for signing up, and you can earn a price of cake for telling a friend about the phone application.Hey, I just now realized you save money but not having to leave a tip! The workers only bring out the food or create "prep assembly buffet" food in the visible food prep kitchen area.What is nice to know is that they support various cancer programs. They have a "complimentary items" stand in the center of the restaurant with a bunch of "help-yourself" items, "to-go" boxes, and stacks and stacks of beautiful laid-out spiraled napkins. For those that are super hungry and need something to eat NOW they have packaged thin long bread sticks, and saltine crackers. For spices amd condiments they have salt pepper and Mediterranean salt grinders and pepper flakes. Oil and vinegar for salad dressing. For hot sauce they have Sriracha, tabasco, ketchup, Cholula sauce and more. We estimated five or six minutes. I tried the "Two For" 1. Loaded Baked Potato Soup and 2. A half Caesar salad with added protein, salmon. He tried the Shrimp 'Po Boy. He said that it was not a "'Po Boy" as it was too refined it was a "'Middle Class Boy." He gave me a bite of the bread it was crispy on the outside. He said it was soft yet crispy on the outside. The bread looked to be made with enriched white flour. Lol.In the owner section of Newk's Eatery in maps application, I looked it up and saw that all the salad dressings are made fresh from scratch at each eatery. You can sure tell that when you eat the salads! They taste so fresh! It is all in the dressings baby! I can't wait to go back and try another salad dressing and their pizza! I mean why go to Mod Pizza when you can have a fresher salad dressing?Colors Are Not As What They SeemHere I thought a soup and salad would be both green but they were both red. His 'Po Boy sandwich was yellow. Goes to show ya, sometimes the 'man's food is actually a better choice than the 'woman's Food (a "light" (but loaded!) soup and salad). I wonder if he had a whole one or a half one.There are 715 calories in a Whole Shrimp Po'Boy Sandwich from Newk's. Most of those calories come from carbohydrates (49%).The Loaded Baked Potato Soup was tangy with sour cream on top. The bowl was large and red. I googled that it has 320 calories. I thought it would be a green Noom food category (since, potatoes, right?) Wrong. I was surprised to know it is a red Noom food category color.
CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING FACILITY!!! The last 2 times we ordered, our orders were 100% wrong. Hoping to clear this up with the GM as we were promised a refund that has not been received. Also, received turkey, when I ordered chicken... maybe taste the protein before leaving the facility!?This store has major quality control issues with to-go orders; turkey, avocado sandwich has no avocado..., sandwich supposed to come with chips, but no chips..., greek salad with chicken that has no chicken twice or feta .Major bummer!
Great thin crusted ? and full serving sized ?! Kinda pricey for every day for though. Called our orders in this time.
