Had a great dinner, we both had the lobster roll and trout dip. Both items were good, come out hot and pretty fast despite how busy they were. Also our server was knowledgeable about the menu and was very attentive. Cocktails are also good
Had a great brunch here. The biscuits were delicious and the Bloody Mary hit the spot. Service was great.Will be back to try more brunch items again. Looking forward to trying out their dinner menu.
The service at the bar was awful. I sit down no one comes to me to take my order for about 5 minutes! A gentleman of the lighter hue sits down & gets great customer service! I only wanted a drink, some food & to unwind after a long class today. Instead I get this disheartening treatment. I ended up getting my food to go. If you’re a person of color be ware. Hope the food is better than my service!!!!! Lastly I ask is there silverware from a different bartender & she says, “ I didn’t bag it up but let me check.” That’s not the point! More appropriately sheshould have responded let me check or just automatically checked since it was a to go order!!!!!
Went for a Business lunch. We got wings, which were pretty good, asparagus fries ,the poke as appetizers, all good. So imagine my surprise when I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich! Now it looked so tasty so the fact that this was theeee most bland sandwich I ever tasted was depressing ? I mean no salt no pepper, no flavor, just chewy air, like, it was a grilled sneaker sole?? ZERO SEASONINGS. Nada..but if you're into that kinda thing, this is the entree for you!
Been to a few different Marlow’s locations, always a good experience. The prime rib french dip, while $18, is always amazing and I’ll likely order it every time (even though the pitiful amount of aus jus it is served with is hardly sufficient for half a sandwich, you’ll need to ask for more).My wife had a burger and it was fantastic. Big and juicy, obviously quality ingredients. We also tried the pimiento arancini (fried rice balls) and they were great.The service is great, and the ambience is cool and cozy while feeling more upscale than a standard pub, and I think that’s what justifies the higher than expected price for most items.
I feel like most restaurants like this are going downhill in quality and service. Marlow's is one of the few places where we have a good experience every time. The food and service is always exceptional and their menu has lots to choose from.
We stopped here on our way to Florida from Chicago and it was one of the best meals and service we have had in a long time! Coming from Chicago that says a lot. We will definitely make a point of stopping here again when we make our trips to Florida.
Stopped in for an early dinner last night with a friend. We arrived early so we were able to secure a booth. Our server had an offbeat personality - a bit on the obnoxious side (he thought he was funny - we found him marginally humorous) and as long as he wasn’t busy with other tables, he was attentive. The moment he got busy, then we never saw him. We had to ask repeatedly for drinks, condiments, etc. Our food was average. We both ordered burgers - one was cooked to order, the other less done than ordered but we didn’t have an opportunity to return it b/c of the vanishing server. We weren’t fans of the truffle Parmesan fries but the kettle chips were delicious. Nice pub atmosphere but we won’t be returning again anytime soon.
Great neighborhood restaurant, the menu selection is great. The chicken panini is light and satisfying, fish tacos, the salmon are all good choices, fresh ingredients with great presentation.The chef has great attitude, always ready to make you happy with any meal.
Dave the bar tender is awesome!!! Came here tonight to watch the game at the bar. The food, drinks and service was the best. I highly recommend coming here for a lunch/ dinner or to come watch a game. If you sit at the bar ask for Dave he makes a great drink !!!!!
