My sister and I was looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate her finishing the end of school year. She is a 29 year teacher and had a very successful year with her all of the kids in her class. The atmosphere was nice and staff was very friendly. We both ordered the field of greens salad with different protein. I ordered the Salmon and she ordered the crispy chicken tenders. The salads very large portions and enough for two meals. We were very pleased.
The steak is way too salty, there is no way people enjoy that much salt on their meat. If they do they will develop high blood pressure quick! Everything else was exceptional.
I've eaten here 4 times, but 2 times the food was not cooked properly and was missing a whole steak. The food is great, so maybe they were having a rough time. Will give them a try again in the future.
Food was good, service very slow, from the hostess seating us to the server. Place was probably at 60% full. Took 15 minutes for hostess to seat us and we were behind a couple who were already waiting. Tons of open tables and booths cleaned ready to go. Poor table management since we had no preference and we were only a party 4. Could understand if we had 10 or 15 people.
The food was good, I got a salad and the chicken sandwich for lunch. Great price! I was expecting the salad to come out first but it came out with the sandwish.sandwich.. ok. The issue I had was the service. It took almost 10 minutes for a server to greet, another 10 to get our drinks, she came back another 5 minutes later to get our order. It came out in 20 minutes. Server checked back once but after another 20 minutes we were ready to go but again we waited. It's a good thing we had a lot to talk about.
It was good. I had Rib-eye with rice pilaf and lobster tail. for the sides, caesar salad. My husband had their Grilled chicken with strawberry salad. our 1st time here, definitely won't be our last. I wish I could finish the steak but it was kind of big. Ate just half of it. Service was great! See thank you. See you soon. ?
We were visiting my son & his fiancee and came here for dinner to meet her parents. It was a little strange that my son noted that they didn't take reservations but we could be put on the wait list for our time. Since we got there and still waited 15 minutes before being seated that is obviously the difference. Personally I believe the individuals at the front desk could have been a bit more communicative on how the seating time was going instead of the silence we received before finally being seated. The 6 of us all had a variety of steaks and sides and everything was excellent - all the steaks were cooked correctly. I have always liked the Wild West Shrimp as an appetizer and everyone had some today and everyone enjoyed it. Our server, Nelly, was excellent throughout the meal - however, I don't know if her shift had ended and she had left but after she took the check we never saw her again. Price wise our 6 dinners came to a total of $165 before tip. Overall, a nice meet the parents afternoon at Longhorn.
The black older female bartender with short hair who was on duty today really upset me. She was rude initially when I sat down, tossed on the bar literally, my cutlery set and just seemed as if my presence bothered her. I noticed she was very pleasant and nice to customers who she was familiar with who were white but only asked me one time was everything ok with my food and drink. She started to assist a customer who wanted gift cards when I politely said “dear when you get a chance can I have my bill” ? She seemed agitated and rushed over to a different register with a attitude. I told her there was no rush that’s why I said “when you get a chance”. My food was only around $14 but I tipped her $10 because it’s the holidays plus I’m a nice person but her attitude definitely sucked big time !!Yea I won’t be back to this location.
They were busy so they forgot our salads until the entree came out but they comped our drinks because of it, the bartender was very good! This location is always busy so we usually get served faster at the bar.
We always love LongHorn steakhouse, but my experience last night was a very good one. There was an approximate 30 minute wait to sit down and instead of waiting we chose to sit at one of the bar tables. Our waitress was Holly and she ended up being one of the best I've ever had she constantly checked up on us and we had a short discussion about her name being Holly and my wife's name being Joy and we just needed someone named Mary for another part of our Christmas Cheer. Anyway, we really enjoyed our whole experience and will certainly be back and be asking for her.
