My first impression through the door at 3pm on a Wednesday was not great, I was instructed to order from the kiosk even though there was no one else there and the employees were clearly not busy. Another customer came in behind me and I think was turned off by a similar reception.The grilled catfish po boy was excellent however and so good that I am still willing to give 5 stars in spite of the lackluster customer service. I don't normally comment on french fries either, but these were as perfect a version of seasoned crinkle fries I've ever had. I will return and try more of the menu in the future.There is no indoor seating and only a concrete picnic table outside so plan to do take-out. They seem more geared toward online orders for takeout.
My sister and I got food from here for the first time today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I got a plate of fried catfish and shrimp. Whatever they fry their fish in is really crispy and delicious, it doesn't fall off like the breading at some other places. The fry seasoning was really good, too. My sister got a po boy and it looked great, I think I'll have to try that next. I wish this business the best!
I've got to say, this place is awesome! I love good seafood and crayfish. I purchased just a small sampler of shrimp and oysters, perfect might I add, and the shrimp are huge! Oysters are off the chain also. After talking with Sonny about my experience of crawfish in my hometown, he told me of his source and his quality of his, so, I also purchased a pound of crawfish to take home! When he brought it out, he said HE wasn't happy with the quality, (not up to his par) and insisted on refunding my order. Upon eating said crawfish, I found absolutely NOTHING wrong with them, they're fresh, hot and seasoned PERFECTLY. This man went out of his way to make sure I had an awesome experience, very nice should I say, kindness goes a long way and you'll find that here. Awesome food and "over the top" kind management.
Great food! Cooked to order. Hot, fresh, and tasty ?? it's our new go to fast food place for seafood. Excellent fried catfish and shrimp and don't forget to try the boiled potatoes and corn! ??
Addicting!! I have eaten here 2 days in a row!!! My food was always fresh and fried perfectly!! I got the shrimps and fish and my husband got the boiled snow crabs and shrimps! Seasoned to perfection and was great both days!!! We’ll definitely be returning before leaving the Kennesaw area!!! Great staff and the wait time wasn’t long at all. My overall experience was a 10
I came here only because I seen a review or two saying the gumbo was “Amazing”- Um the Gumbo in my opinion was disgusting, And had too much going on in it. Want good gumbo? The Gumbo from Jason’s Deli in kennesaw taste waaay better and cost less! Trust me, Or if you’re willing to spend go to Copelands- but eww this was a no for me
Ordered from the restaurant for the first time tonight. I ordered a pasta bowl. It was DELICIOUS! The wait time was good and the customer service was great. I have found my new seafood restaurant in Kennesaw. You should give them a try!!
Finally gave this place a try. New seafood locations in Georgia are always welcome. We tried the fried catfish and the the shrimp boil. Both were good. I enjoyed the boil more but the fried combo will hit the spot as well. The fried fish was a little tough but my main issue was no grilled fish options are currently available. Once that is resolved we will be back to try more options.
I called at 8 pm . I came in 15 mins. My order was ready fresh and hot. It was delicious. I ordered the fried whiten fish meal. I know now where to go to get good, delicious hot fish in Kennesaw!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
My son and I got shrimp and fish poboys, 1 whole each, and they were delicious! Very flavorful and cooked to perfection. My only gripe is that there were only 2 shrimp on each half of the shrimp poboy. They are nice size shrimp but I expected more than 4 shrimp for $12. Again, the flavor was on point but I think we'll stick with the fish poboy and maybe try some other items. Nice new seafood option in this area.
