Three-piece fish fillet dinner. $18.00Pros – Uber Eats delivery was on time and very hot which means it was prepared fresh. Okra was excellent. Tartar sauce was superior. Coating on both okra and fish were great.Cons – fish was nonexistent. Best guess, I'd say 96% coating, 4% fish. I didn't pay $18 for a great coating and good okra.Summary – if you want good catfish, just go to Publix on Friday and grab their preprepared fried catfish. It's much much better… and CHEAPER.
The staff were wonderful and the food was so good. I've been craving catfish and this absolutely hit the spot. The hush puppies are some of the best I've had! So crunchy, yet still super light and fluffy.
My family loved Catfish Jim's when it was in the old Casey's Hot dog on 41. Never went to the other place in Acworth ( I think it was just catering) . We found the new place last July and baby it's the same. Best catfish in the land on or off the bone. Hushpuppies are the best! Just wish they put their tarter sauce in a squeeze bottle like they use to. We loved to plug it in and fill up those puppies with that sauce.
We’d been craving some good fried catfish, and this really satisfied! I had the whole fish and it was tender and moist inside, with a nicely crisp outside. We came back the next day for some fried okra. It was great too!
My sister and I came for our first time and had the wing lunch special. We were greeted and treated AMAZING during our visit. The food was cooked to perfection and the staff talked to us like we were family. This is our new spot!!!!
omg one it’s so hard to find good catfish and hush puppies in Kennesaw!!! today my husband wanted to try them and after passing them on cobb for 2 yrs they definitely didn’t disappoint !!!Food was amazing omg i can’t explain but i know if you love catfish yesss this is the spot !?! Everything was season well ,hot and delicious!! Oh the wings are a must also !!
Fish was cooked very well. Just add your seasoning and enjoy! Everything is cooked to order so be patient. It's worth it. Pricing is on the high side so be prepared. Getting into the parking lot is a bit difficult due to traffic in this very busy corner.
The food is great. The hush puppies remind me of the ones my grandma made when I was young. The food is seasoned perfectly and taste amazing. It is what keeps me coming back.
Loved it ! Great customer service! And the catfish was amazing! My boyfriend got the chicken thigh and wing with his and said it was amazing ! Definitely will be back !
Excellent country style catfish and chicken meal at JimPa's! We had delicious fried catfish and chicken plus with a fantastic 3 PC large shrimp add-on! Enjoyed sides of fried okra, steak fries, onion rings, dynamite hush puppies and slaw! It's always nice when they exceed your expectations ... and they did!
