Excellent everything! I first tried their chicken at the Taste of Kennesaw several months ago. I was in the area again so thought I would stop in to see it tasted just as good as the first time... it did not disappoint! We sat at the counter and drank beer while waiting for our order. Tried the Fried Green Tomatoes - Excellent!! The manager part-owner Mike was great. He let us taste the greens and talked to us about the history of the restaurant. When he told us everything tastes good, he did not lie! We went home with 5 different pieces of pie ... definitely a toss up between the pecan pie and the coconut pie with the chess pie and sweet potato coming in close. We got home to our chicken still warm, with a piece of bread in a brown paper bag - moist, crisp and flavorful! Looking forward to my next visit.

Thanks to Mrs Sophia James fx for helping me and my family trade, I got my withdrawal (cash out) yesterday. You're the best trader I've ever experience myself. After many times of been defrauded of my funds, i finally get to cash out. She's legit, reliable and experience. I invested $500 to earn $7000... Easier than I thought Mrs Sophia James fx you're the best trader I can recommended for anyone who wants to invest and trade with a genuine trader .. contact Sophia James fx her via

My rating is because of the service. I was acknowledged by a server upon entrance and told to head to the counter for carryout service where I stood and was ignored first by the woman assigned to the counter and a 2nd time by the same server who directed me to the counter. The server took over register duties and proceeded to help a man who came in after me.Finally, she takes my to go order. I'm told it will be 15 minutes. I go outside to wait and around 10 minutes later I see the customer who placed the order before mine leaving with his order. I go back to the counter for pickup. The cook has already placed an open to go container on the back counter and announces it's hot and to get it out! I stand waiting and hear the cook announce 2 more times that to go orders are getting cold!I had to ask the server was that my order and was it still hot? Of course, she gives the huff n puff with the eye roll.I was there for the chicken and it was okay. The beans were mushy and the cole slaw runny and bland.

I tried Gus’s for the first time today. The location itself was nice, clean and spacious and the service was great. I ordered fried green tomatoes and the three piece wing meal with coleslaw and beans. The owner/manager was kind enough to bring me samples of the greens, okra and Mac and cheese as I waited for my order. I thoroughly enjoyed the greens and potato salad. The okra was also very good. I liked the chicken as well, to me the breading is perfect, not too much-and the flavoring is on point. I’ve had hot chicken at one other establishment however I can honestly say that Gus’s is the best.

Dined in at one of the ATL locations. The food was great, the chicken is cooked to order so if you don't call ahead be prepared to wait. The sides were excellent my favorite was the fried okra.

Tried Gus's tonight and thought it was great. Delicious fried chicken. I was worried it would be too spicy but it was just enough to make you want to keep eating. The fried okra was fantastic, as was the coleslaw. My husband had mac and cheese and said it was great. We also tried their homemade pie, the chocolate chess was almost as good as mine. :) The service was amazing! Very helpful and friendly!

I was really excited to Gus's as it's really close to our home and well.......I love me some fried chicken. ?The 3 ⭐ review is mostly because the service was EXCELLENT. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive as this was our first visit and we had a little longer wait than normal. The food however was was pretty disappointing. The greens, fried green tomatoes, fried okra, fried pickle slices and even the fried chicken lacked seasoning and flavor. The fried chicken was nice in that it was crispy, juicy, and had some heat on the back end despite it's lack of seasoning. The staff made sure to tell us they use cayenne pepper in their batter so their bone in chicken is a little on the spicy side (which we don't mind). He also told us their tenders have less cayenne so they're less spicy but we didn't try the tenders.Prices were reasonable. The location is convenient as it's on Main Street in downtown Kennesaw.Note to staff/management: The lights on the sign were turned on so we almost didn't stop as we thought they were closed but noticed there were people seated inside.I'm all for 2nd chances but I doubt we'll be visiting Gus's again any time soon based on our first visit.

We love this place. First ate at the original in Memphis, but have since moved to the Kennesaw area and this store is three miles from home! We consider this chicken to be the best we’ve ever eaten. Everything is cooked to order. Nothing fancy, just exceptionally good chicken. The staff are pretty engaging, too. This stuff will turn you off to the big players after one meal: it’s really that good. I invite anyone who hasn’t tried Gus’s to experience a flavor like no other.

Had lunch with a friend recently. Great meal! Casual setup, great (I mean Great) chicken! Baked beans and slaw were also very enjoyable! Will certainly be back! Thanks for representing Kennesaw in such great, hometown fashion!

This was a recommendation from one of the workers at the Kennesaw depot. I ordered a 2pc dark with okra and Mac n cheese. Hubby got a 2pc white with fries and Mac n cheese. Chicken was good and hot and it was spicy Mac n cheese was good as was the okra. Service was a bit slow but not real bad. Prices $$. We enjoyed our meal. I would visit again, if I'm ever in that area.
