Came here on a Sunday around 5:30. The place was quaint and very clean, and the staff were very friendly and personable. We were asked to sit wherever we liked, which was a nice surprise since I’m hard of hearing so we could choose a quiet corner (the whole restaurant was quiet though - no music blasting here). The menu was pretty standard fare, but I got tacos al pastor and WOW were they delicious. Perfectly seasoned, served with half a lime (a full half!!!), pico de gallo/salsa fresca, and beans. My partner got a combo plate with a taco, a burrito, rice, and beans. Everything tasted so fresh and cooked to perfection. This place is truly a hidden gem!!!! I love it. Definitely in the top 10 of Mexican or Mexican-style restaurants that I’ve tried.
I will never be eating here again. I wish I could give them 0 stars or negative if possible. My drink cup had gunk or food stuck to the inside of the rim. I saw TWO DIFFERENT bugs during my 30 minute dinner. One looked like a beetle and the other was definitely a roach. IICKK! The food was mediocre, partly because I was scared for every bite to have something else unexpected. I know there are so many similar restaurants with better menus and better service and better environments. Would not recommend to anyone.
Service was good. Food not so much. It was my fiancé and my first time here and it’s safe to say our last. The red sauce tasted more like Chef boyardees sauce. The meat had no flavor. I had tacos with an enchilada. The chips were good but the sauce didn’t have taste to it. The sweet tea was perfect.
Went here before a movie. Good food, nice folks. A little understaffed. Fun to watch the RC cars out the window from Hobbytown. Well done! :)
1. Clean, the entrance is to the side.2. The food is okay; ordered fajitas. You can taste the cooking oil and it was not a good taste.3. The service was on point.4. Margarita; Texas. Tasted great.5. Always great food, generous portions, and friendly staff. It's your typical family owned and operated style of Mexican restaurant, unlike the larger chains. And that shows in the price and portion sizes. Been going here for years and always recommend for a quick bite
I had of the best Taco ? Salad's ? I've had in a long time ⌛️. ??? Flavorful, just the right amount of lettuce & cheese & crema. They have a wonderful salsa but to spicy. The service was awesome.
The BEST Mexican food I've had so far. Restaurant was clean, service was exceptional and the food great!! Definitely a repeat customer here!! No need to add photos, menu photos are accurate.
This place has been around for 30 years. Mom and pop as they come. Wonderful family business. Great people watching. Have a drink and watch the nerds enter / leave Hobby Town USA. Cheap entertainment.
