I love Mexican food and was in the area so I stopped by. Once I walked in I was greeted by two young ladies with a nice smile. Was taken to my table where my server (Courtney) was amazing. Once my food came out that’s when everything went down hill. My food came out with two items that I never ordered. I sent the plate back and it came out correct. Once I’ve taken my first bite of the food it had no taste and the chicken was dried. My son didn’t even eat his food because his chicken tenders were hard. Had to take him to another restaurant. I didn’t want to bother my server because I could tell she was busy so I just paid and left. The staff is amazing but the food need a lot of work.
Pretty decent food overall, I like that the food here is more Tex-Mex than traditional low quality Dive Mexican that you get at most Mexican restaurants. I like the tacos al Carbon.Get the jalapeno ranch dip for that chips, it is most excellent and one of the main reasons that I think to visit Chuy's.
Great food! We had the roasted chicken big as your face burrito with queso sauce and the deluxe chicken plate with tomatillo sauce. I've been eating at Chuy's since my days in Austin, TX. Can't go wrong.
What a perfect day for their patio. Margs we’re tasty and when they say their burrito is the size of your head, they aren’t kidding!! Delaney did a great job making sure everyone outside was taken care of. Great job.
Very pleasant dine out. Food tastes great, good portion, good service. I love their quaso, rich cream cheese mix but didn't solidify too early. I also love the shrimp taco: crispy shrimp, balance flavor, just the right size.
Phenomenal Texas based American-Mexican restaurant. Always great for a chicken fajita burrito & a margarita for lunch!
Chuy’s does American Mexican food differently than most chain restaurants. The cheese dip is delicious, so was everything else we ordered. Guacamole made fresh and not packaged. The salsa is real salsa kinda like pico de gallo. Steak was tender and thick. Tacos were bangin! Chips made fresh. Great service too. I’ll be back.
Amazing tex mex food! Deluxe chicken enchiladas are to die for. Also, the the restaurant is decorated and super fun
Loved Chuy's!We were coming home from a week long winter vacation. We stumbled on Chuy's and actually didn't even know we were there! It was NYE and we just got in to Atlanta after driving all day. We looked at Google Maps for restaurants and saw On the Border which we are big fans of. We went there but there was no hostess to be found a quite a few people waiting. We left and decided to go to the Chevy's down the road which we are also big fans of.Turns out none of us can read cursive writing and Chevy's was actually Chuy's which is a chain I had never heard of. We didn't realize we were in Chuy's until we ordered our food and noticed it on the menu. No wonder I didn't recognize the logo or insanely colorful dining area. I felt like a kid entering Willy Wonka's factory for the first time when we opened the door. And we were happy to see a hostess waiting at the counter. Our server was Jeff and he was pretty great! We had ordered fajita's for two but vegan style (no meat, cheese or sour cream). He was nice and doubled checked if the rice and beans were vegan. At this point I still thought I was at Chevy's and was surprised they didn't have black beans. Once we realized we were at Chuy's I Googled it and found the rice and beans were indeed vegan (I should have just trusted Jeff and the kitchen). Which, I got to say, big thanks to Chuy's for not ruining rice and beans with chicken stock and lard!My youngest son ordered a couple of chicken tacos and my oldest had a big plate of nachos. Our fajita's for two was very generously sized and really, really delicious. The house made flour tortillas were killer! I actually have a tortilla press at home I've never used (Santa left it last Christmas -- over a year ago). I'm going to get that thing out and make my own flour tortillas now. They were so freaking good!We almost didn't end up here and when we did walk in the doors we didn't realize it was something different. On the Border and Chevy's are great but I think Chuy's might be better! Thanks to Jeff and everyone else working NYE. After a long day of travel it was a nice surprise to have what was my favorite meal of the whole trip. I will definitely keep my eye out for Chuy's when we travel. Thanks!
Food was very good. However, one person didn't get their food until everyone in our family was done eating. When they brought our food out, they didnt even realize that one person didn't have their food. I had to tell them. Then, they acted pretty nervous about it. Said it was almost done and would be out any moment. Rather, it had never even been submitted. Again, it came out after the entire family was done with their dinner and had already boxed up their leftovers already. They comped the meal, which I wouldn't have expected anything less. First time and our last time.
