Tyler was an excellent server. Our food and drinks were delicious and delivered in good time Thank you Tyler and staff in Kennesaw, GA.
We decided to have an early dinner the Friday before Memorial Day and the original restaurant we headed for was crowded and had no handicapped parking so we headed for the next one on my possible list and thank goodness it was Carrabba's. We're both disabled and going out is a choice not made lightly. Wait was approx 20 to 30 minutes but the weather was nice so we went to wait on the patio. A server came out to clear a table and my husband asked him if he was serve us out there. He said yes but explained he had tables inside so be patient. If you go to Carrabba's, ask for Nigel because he's a gem. He never missed a beat from drinks to the check. And the food was amazing. Fresh Capprese to appetizers to entrees, we thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal more than we have in yrs. And we've dined in some top restaurants across the country. Despite this being a chain, this was superb. We'll be back.
The food was good, and it was mothers day so I'll cut them some serious slack, but it was really disappointing to get there with all 5 of us, only for them to tell us they didn't have our reservation. The hostess said "it happens. We have a lot of new staff, but we'll definitely try to get you seated soon." After sitting at the bar for an hour and a half, I asked the hostess if there is any indication of how much longer we'd have to wait. She said probably another hour... so despite having reservations (that were lost) and waiting an hour and a half, we ended up just ordering food at the bar. Perfect for a family dinner. The bar tender was nice though and managed to get our food out pretty quickly.
All I can say is, JACOB! I decided to stop for lunch the other day and almost made the decision to do to-go. So glad I didn’t and dined in because Jacob was absolutely excellent. Because I was alone, I ate at the bar. Not only did Jacob tend to my needs, but he was handling all the booths and others located at the bar. He didn’t waver on service to anyone; we ALL got 1000% percent. Yes, giving him 100 is an understatement to the energy he brought. My drink was amazing, he got my order out to me super fast, and checked in regularly to see if I needed anything else. If you want a nice bit to eat coupled with amazing service, check out this location Fridays and Saturdays and dine in the bar area. You won’t be disappointed!
Very good veal Marsala, excellent chicken Parmesan, very good Caesar salad, and the whisky sour was generous and tasty. Our server, Mike (who is also the bartender) was attentive and very pleasant. Great experience
Our server was great, met a nice couple sitting next to us that gave us a $20 off gift card which was extremely nice of them. I had the tusan grilled chicken italian salad made just the way I wanted it and their house dressing is fantastic. The seasoning on the chicken was phenomenal which gave the salad even more of an italian taste. I do wish the salad was a little bigger for a $15.00 salad but I was happy because our server brought me more of the kalamata olives. My husband had the italian bread with their olive oil mixed with some italian seasonings that he said were very good. His entree was the Spaghetti with bolognese meat sauce and could barely finish his portion, which was way bigger than it appeared. When we were ready to go we used the gift card and gave our server a 100% tip off the discounted amount. We felt that we needed to bless him and pay it forward. Excellent dinner Carrabbas, we truly enjoyed our first time eating at your restaurant ?
I ordered takeout from this restaurant on a busy Saturday night while driving. The lady that answered the phone was so patient and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and made suggestions since I wasn’t able to look at the menu. The food was prepared quickly, even though it was the weekend and restaurant was packed! It was still hot and very tasty when I arrived home almost 20 minutes after picking it up. I wish I knew the lady’s name that worked on curbside to mention it here.
delicious meal, nice atmosphere
This was a horrible experience. I do not recommend going to Carrabba's on a holiday of any kind. @Blooming Brands who owns Carrabba's prioritizes taking to go orders (Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc.) over customers who are actually inside the restaurant. While we were there, they had over 100+ to go orders and shut off seating customers because their kitchen was overwhelmed. Servers said that they had not had tables in over an hour due to the crush of to go orders. When we finally got seated over an hour and a half later, there were more than 20 empty tables -- half the restaurant was empty because of the management was not taking care of customers inside the restaurant. (I really felt sorry for the servers and wait staff who depend on tips to pay their bills.) Our waitresses was great and the food was good. We would have left if this was not our child's first Valentine's Dinner date out. Very disappointed in Blooming Brands decisions. There were people who made reservations that the staff would not honor. Probably 60-75 people waiting to be seated in an empty restaurant. This was the Barrett Parkway location on 2/14/22. Felt like they didn't care about the customers in the restaurant at all. Management was uncaring because their hands were tied by policies. Very disappointing.
