My neighbor recommended this spot for a great cheesesteak. Horrible experience. Arrived yesterday to be told that they were only accepting online orders.. (unsure if their system was having issues or why that was the case). I downloaded the app and placed an order for a medium cheesesteak sub (almost $14.00 by the way for a medium!) my sub takes forever to come out. My girlfriend was almost completely finished with her Italian sandwich when I finally got mine. The steak was burnt to a crisp. See photos. Took one bite and had to throw it away. I didn’t want to cause a scene as I was pretty upset in the moment, so I just left. Not one to really ever complain, but this was just an awful experience. I’m sure the food could be good if cooked right.
OK Been wanting to try this place. Wednesday and Thursday app only ordering and Take out due to shortage of employees. The staff was super friendly and helpful A+. Ordered several meals at one time. First, an Italian sausage without marinara and it was very good. Sausage had a little kick which was nice. Second, was a pastrami with coleslaw and this was a winner. Great pastrami! Third, was a turkey Salad. It comes with barbecue sauce or salad dressings(choices) and the salad was very good, but the turkey was dry. This was unfortunate, because it would have been great if the Turkey was moist. Fourth, was a Cole Turkey Sub. This was good but not great for the same reason... dry turkey. The coleslaw helped with the dryness problem.. Fifth, and final was the Turkey Sub. Again, if the turkey was moist it would have been really good. The bread on the subs is very good, plus they have sweet pepper relish and a hot pepper relish which are both very good. They have a Bobby Sub with turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing that sounded interesting! The giant sandwich is 18" long, wow. Several meals for most. The drink selection is from Pepsi which is a bummer. I hate that the Turkey was so disappointing. I will definitely be back to try some other items. My rating would have been about 3.5 but I upped it to a 4 for the uniqueness and the other selections were so good. It is a little pricey, but considering the portions improved the value.
Best Philly steak I’ve ever had. The wagyu is incredible. The service is extremely slow every time I go in, and they are hardly open. One time I was in half of the staff walked out to argue about something with the remaining two left to complete the orders, it took 45 minutes to get my sandwich. This could be the best sandwich shop in the tristate area if they got their stuff together.
I normally don't have a complaint in the world about Capriotti's. I am a Delaware native living in Georgia and I love the food. Yesterday, I ordered almost $60 worth of food. My cheese steak was delicious as usual but my 3 Italian subs that I ordered for myself and my children were HORRIBLE! The person who made the subs dumped salt on every layer of the sandwich. I didn't request salt on our food. I literally couldn't eat the sub because the amount salt made me sick. When I called to speak with the manager, no one answered the phone. I drove all the way from Austell back to the shop only for them to be closed super early! It's definitely a bunch of minors preparing the food and to be honest, I'd rather not have a child prepare my food. My children needed to be able to eat their food and I literally didn't want to waste my money so they endured the worst sub ever. I will be returning to speak with the manager to give them a chance to rectify this situation. I am utterly disappointed because I now have to waste my gas to go all the way back there because I couldn't get them over the phone first.
They have great vegetarian options! Food was good. Took a little long to get. Were out of a few things we wanted to try.
So let me start this by saying I walk into the store and there is a woman who works for this place, and she has a giant Afro and no hair net… not only that I get bad vibes from the staff. No one seemed to be happy. My wife and I ordered two classic cheese steaks a bag of chips each and 2 drinks, this costs 32 dollars. The sandwich was mediocre. Couldn’t taste the vegetables almost at all. The soda I decided to get was flat. Overall horrible experience I will never come here again. I can’t believe people say this is the best cheese steak outside of Philly. Jersey Mike’s is way better.
They seem to be struggling a bit which may very likely be due to lack of available employees. Regardless, i got an impossible cheesesteak and it was delicious. So the food is still excellent at least. I really appreciate them doing what they have to do to stay open. Thank you!?
The service and the food at this restaurant was great in the past. Unfortunately, my family's recent experience (on 02/11/2022) was not. The sandwiches were not prepared properly, very little meat and wrong meat (we ordered the 2 WAGYU steak and cheese and received regular steak). We want to support local business and are very understanding about new staff, delay in delivery of items (no Russian dressing for one of the sandwiches) with the current state of the economy, etc. We even gave a tip for our order. However, because our sandwiches were so bad, we did not eat them and took them back the next day. The manager said they were "slammed" at that time and he could not handle my request or process a credit at the time. He took my information and promised to take care of the credit the next morning. Maybe, needless to say, I have never received a $55 credit. I paid for nothing. I even tried to reach out to the leadership through Facebook. I have yet to receive a response. I do wish this restaurant well, but our family will not be returning to this location.
I showed up and it was online ordering only. So I leave. So I went out to my car and I ordered online peryou're online. I was charged $2.49 for an upcharge for unsweetened iced tea. When I got in there there was no ice tea made. And they told me there was no way to refund my $2.49 up charge for iced tea. This is unacceptable. I already paid and was told I'm out of luck. Thanks for the free money. Basically stealing. Make sure you do not use their app. If they don't take your order in person, go somewhere else. Unacceptable behavior.
This place has gone down hill since it first opened in Kennesaw. Don't eat here if you're time is limited. Twice this week I experienced the slowest service just to get a single philly. Today it literally took them 28 minutes from the time I ordered. And no, the place wasn't packed.
