I had some of the best baked chicken I've ever eaten. The portions were large considering it was a lunch plate. Plus it came with rice n gravy and green beans with a total of only 5.99 for the lunch special (during the weekdays only). I will definitely come back next time i come around the area again.
I'm really big on customer service & this places highly lacks that. Bad part is he said that he is the owner. I really wanted those other reviews of the customer service to be wrong. I tried to order lunch specials for my kids & I but was told you can only place 3 lunch special orders but no where on the menu is it listed. I only needed 4 lunch specials & rushed to come before 2 just to hear this. I'm so disappointed because they always say we don't support our own enough but how can we when they lack customer service skills? It wasn't even the fact of the orders but his attitude in general. I will definitely NOT return here EVER.

Best around , he never disappointed me, food cook too order worth the wait. I’ll always return every week too support his business. That Mac n cheese , candy yams hits different everytime ! Fried chicken oh yes sir ! Try the red velvet cake!
Baby! Mr. Lewis is in my top 5 places to eat in ATL. When I tell you that fried chicken, mac and cheese and green beans was HOT and fresh when he gave me my order! The chicken I swear reminded me of my mama's fried chicken and its hard to top my mama's cooking. Chile that red velvet cake!!! IT was sooooooooooo moist and not overly sweet and he gave me the option with or without nuts. I can't post a pic cause baby my plate is gone! I will back to try more of his delicious food. You will have to wait but its WORTH it. The food is hot and fresh! I can express it enough, you will not be disappointed!
Came here after seeing a tik tok recently and never knew they were opened. I was in the mood for soul food and decided today would be the day. I ordered the bbq chicken, mac and cheese and the green beans. I was greeted nicely and waited on by the 1 person who appeared to be running things. He was sweet and patient and helped me understand the menu. I will definitely be back.
Normally when you try something a second time it’s not as good as the first. Same taste as the first time, but even better the second! This man here can throw down!!!
I have passed by this location so many times wanting to stop but it looked like it wasn't open. Then a friend said it was open, limited hours. First visit today and I will visit again. Now that I have the menu I can order ahead and just pick up my food instead of ordering and waiting. These wings are good, garlic-parmesan, the flavor is not over powering. I'm sharing this information as a Travel professional. If you're in the area and want a different vendor, give him a try
After reading many of the reviews decided to try this restaurant as I live not so far from them….I so wanted to like this, but I’m wondering what happened with those reviews? Ordered the smothered chicken meal deal..1. The Mac ‘ n cheese looked & tasted like it came out of a box, not even baked 2. The greens were too vinegary 3. The dressing was just not good, no seasoning I could discover at all 4. Same for the smothered chicken lastly, the peach cobbler, again not good ..overall, VERY disappointed. I’ll stick to the Busy Bee..they get this meal deal right.?
Mr. Lewis,YOU know how to cook PERIOD!!!Me being new to the McDonough area, I found you restaurant on my GPS and decided to take a try at your cuisine. I was not disappointed one bit. I ordered the whiting dinner with okra and slaw. DELICIOUS, WELL PREPARED, LIP SMACKING, NOT OVER SEASONED, FLAKEY WHITING!!! What more could I ask bit for you to NEVER sell your business. Sir, in a world of copy-cats saying they know how to cook OUR foods, you put them all to shame.Those of you coming to my country trying to out cook the originators of delicacy, please stick to what you know.
