Good place to go and very delicious food. price reasonable. If you are a big eater, quantity man not be enough for you. The service suffers because of shortage of staffs
A good place with great reasonably affordable and authentic Asian food. We had a tofu soup with pork and beef options and it was very pleasing. The spiciness was perfect and the quantity was enough. Though the condiments were well controlled but were free to refill. This was the first time we had some kind of dish with boiled patotes as a condiment and that came out great. I feel it a good place to enjoy your day with good food and pleasant ambience.
Good food and nice stews. The army stew and beef stew were solid. Environment was ok.
We used to order almost every week from them throughout the pandemic but really disappointed that their japchae is just 1.5 cup of noodles only for the price of $16. Only 5 pcs shiitake mushrooms. We gave hen another try and the same thing happened . Not ordering anymore. Would rather spend $45 and drive to bbmyun and other korean restaurants in pleasant hill.
Excellent food and service. Ordered the tofu soup it was very fulfilling.
I always enjoy the hot stone, all of them. Tofu soup is also great. Never a disappointment. Great atmosphere, great service , very nice owner on site. Come enjoy!
Their budaejigae is very good - I'd consider coming here again for that. The beef & seafood stew, however, is quite disappointing. The flavor is very bland, and there's probably 5 pieces of ground beef (like literally... 5 sprinkles of ground beef) in the stew, 4 pieces of clam, and 1 shrimp. Yes I counted, because as soon as I opened it, I was baffled by the amount of protein or should I say the lack thereof. Overall, I'm not sure if I'll come back.
Best kimchi stew we’ve ever had. The food/place/and people are so comforting
Good food. Friendly Service. Good Value
Sondobu is one of my favorite korean food and whenever I find one, I always try it. The food and service received here are all good. I was just hoping the soup is a little thicker. It was too thin for my liking. I got the seafood sondubu and my hubby got the kimchi sondubu. Will still come back.
