Meal was delicious. Sunjay was so hospitable. We enjoyed the atmosphere. Clean as well. Accommodated my vegan requests. My husband got the Salmon and said it was delicious!
First experience with Indian food ever. Service was excellent and food was really good! Portions were big also.
Finally found an Indian restaurant that has really good food, great service, and amazing ambiance. The food was really fresh, perfectly spiced, and good quantity. The wait staff was attentive and very friendly. The fact that they had karaoke was an added bonus. It is not often you find an Indian restaurant with this feature. The house singer was really good!
Update: After having tasteful food the first time we decided go there again and I am reducing one star. One of their staff member tall guy with grey hair and mustache is very rude and has no sense of hospitality. This happened consistently the second time. Also we didn’t like their tasteless Daal. Naan was too chewy and seem like pre made naan. Some subzi they cannot make medium spicy and their medium spicy is too much spicy so be careful when you order. The restaurant was crowded on Saturday and they are short staffed for such crowd but not at all crowded on Sunday. Their soup taste is unique and good. Furthermore, their menu was dirty with oil stain on it which is not at all hygienic. The food was pretty good. Well served and quality was good too. I think it was freshly made food. Flavor was just different and never tasted before, very unique and tasty. Service was good too. Nice ambiance. Paneer was also very soft and yummy. I think they freshly made the paneer instead of using the grocery store paneer which was the best part. Must try their paneer appetizer.
Should have believed the other negative reviews. I thought... how bad can it be, especially with such a famous endorsement. Been to countless Indian restaurants in the area and this one is by far the worst. The atmosphere is nice, but don't let Sanjeev Kapoors name fool you. The food is, for the most part, terrible. Try it out if you like but don't be surprised if it doesn't measure up to your expectations.Another huge red flag is how the restaurant disrespectfully responds to bad reviews here. Scroll down and see what they've said. It's almost funny how little self awareness the restaurant has.
I liked their starters but haven’t liked main course.
Fantastic food! Wonderful flavor across all the dishes we tried (particularly the “Lawrence Road Tandoori Murgh). A little slow, but worth the wait. Go for it !!!
Food is tasty and service is too fast. Price is little high but worth to try. Food quality is awesome.
Pathetic food .. firstly this place has lost its standard frm what it was . I have ordered food for my wife’s birthday none of the foods biryani , chicken curry , Chaat were even decent. The chicken curry was floating in oil , the biryani is just full of masala , the samosa chaat was just plain sourrr . Anyone who is planning to order I highly recommend not too .I called the restaurant just to convey my feed back but that was the 2nd blow , the manager was rude and seriously needs some coaching on customer service , I told him we are calling to provide just feedback if need be can provide pictures and the response was I am just service manager I can’t help and your photos doesn’t prove anythingFor future customers I would say this is pure waste of money and worst you cannot eat for this over expensive food and unpalatable food .
Don’t waste money!! Just go and buy Pre-made curry paste from Indian groceries store and cook at home…. That may be better as u can cook for ur tastes,That’s exactly what this restaurant serves as it tastes like that….Service is worst… not sure why do they even have a person as host. Who just don’t acknowledge a thank you or anything. Felt as if he was doing a favor and doesn’t want to talk a bit. Sorry, I am not offending anyone here but it’s just courtesy. Anyone expects a response back when you say Thank You or ask a question to the host….
