First time dining at Sugo last night and it was a wonderful experience! We made a reservation in advance and everything was ready when we got there. The food was delicious! And the venue is lovely! And the cherry on top was the two owners (husband and wife, I believe). This is a family-run restaurant, and you definitely feel like family! The owners came by to check on us multiple times, gave us food recommendations, chatted with us for a bit - they were so warm and friendly. And they went by every single table doing this. It was such a nice touch! We will be back!

Close friends from Atlanta selected Sugo. This is one of their favorite place for dinner. Sugo did not disappoint. The staff and Owners were constantly walking around making sure we were pleased with the entire dining experience. I could write more but honestly, everything was excellent. Book a reservation and check it out yourself.

I would put this place top of the must try list, if you have one. Everything was mouth watering delicious and the atmosphere was very cozy! We had a large party there, and staff was extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Our server Roy made sure the whole evening was seamlessly. Can’t wait to visit again and try different items on the menu.

My wife and I recently hosted a private wedding rehearsal dinner at Sugo. The entire experience was wonderful. The owner Nancy was very gracious and everyone we worked with was extremely polite, professional and courteous. This was only exceeded by the quality of the food served and the service we were provided during the dinner. Can't compliment this team enough!!! The meatballs are out of this world along with all the other appetizers and the entrees were all exceptional. My wife and I look forward to coming back to eat when next we are in Atlanta.

Been eating at Sugos for many years, mostly for special occasions. Service and is always exceptional. This visit had only one disappointment, they were out of their Beef Ravioli. Asked for a custom drink, The Rosita, and the bartender made an excellent version. Mr. C making his rounds to make sure all was well was appreciated. Had their Flatbread appetizer for the first time, and it was fantastic, the crust was super light and crispy. Would order again!

We'd never been and the owner came to speak with us and share his personal favorites. When we arrived it was cozy but by the time we left every table in 3 dining rooms were full. The bread was soft inside and crisp outside as it should be. The olive oil was very fresh. The drinks were exquisitely made visually and in taste. Likewise the food was a marriage of fresh perfectly mingled flavors. Servings were not for indulgence but satisfaction. Still we took food home because everything was so rich. Please have the bacon wrapped dates. That are guaranteed to make your mouth happy. Wrapping up with anything less then the fragrant tiramisu or rich cannolis is criminal.

The Flatbreads are the lightest and crispiest I have ever had... must be tried!

We celebrated our anniversary here and the staff was lovely about it. We got two small glasses of champagne and a candle and they congratulated us. I always appreciate when the staff is so attentive and nice—sadly it’s very rare nowadays. Also there was no loud music or anything that would’ve made it impossible to keep a conversation going. The restaurant has a romantic atmosphere, the downside however is that it was so dark that I’ve seen many people using the flashlight of their phones to be able to read the menu. I also like to see what I’m eating so I’d have liked it better if the place had been brighter. The cocktails were amazing—we had the Apple Spicer and the Walnut Old Fashioned and both were great (I liked the Apple Spicer better). We had the Spanish Octopus and the Arancini—the Arancini were heavenly, the octopus was also good. Then we had the branzino which was a daily special and the Eggplant Parmesan—we liked both, they tasted amazing and had different textures and interesting flavor combinations. The only thing is that as our waiter—Roy, who was absolutely amazing and helpful—explained the branzino to us, we thought that it would be a bigger piece of fish but it wasn’t. Anyhow, it was very good. For dessert we had the Tiramisu and the Cannoli—they were good but I wouldn’t say exceptional.I was a bit surprised that there were no pizzas on the menu and overall I thought there would be more traditional Italian dishes (lasagna, carbonara, etc.). Nevertheless, we had a lovely night and we really liked the food there, and the staff was super attentive and courteous. Can’t wait to go back to try more deliciousness.

The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. Got to try the meatball appetizer. I asked to have meatballs served over pasta because they are so good.
