This was my first time dining at this location and definitely not my last. The staff were warm & welcoming. The frozen Texas margaritas and veggie quesadillas are delicious! On top of that the music and authentic interior design invites you feel comfortable and ready have a great time.
The food was good and the service was very friendly, I gives the review because when we ask for the salsa for the tacos they do not have varieties of the salsa and I like the green salsa with my tacos, other than that everything was ok
Always one of my favorite local Mexican restaurants. The quality of the food is very good, and velocity of service exceptional. I think I'd barely ordered and the food arrived, and this on a Saturday night. The salsa is worth the trip, as it happens.
The service was good the food was bland. Drinks were strong so it was hard to enjoy the drink. They need to season the food more. The salt level was fine. The chorizo queso was very greasy. Also had a sick feeling in my stomach after leaving… won’t return but it could have been from the meat or the greasy chorizo queso.
Man was I surprised to see. This place had a 78 on their health score. I used to bartend at the restaurant here before this one, so the score was a deal killer. My wife really wanted some margaritas, I just decided I would eat something safer. After 10 minutes waiting at the booth, we decide to go to the bar. Go figure no bartender. I understand a busy day and low staff. That was absolutely pathetic. All and all, just get Taco Bell before eating this mess. Oh yeah, two people enjoying themselves, could easily run you 100-150. To pay that much to spend your day praying to a porcelain god, would only be a waste. Just keep driving if you want good Mexican food, all the way to El porton in Roswell. The only authentic Mexican aspect to this is establishment is the moctezuma revenge.
The service is horrible. Tacos covered in tomato and onions barely meat, meats dry but refried beans watery and no flavor, my sons quesadilla mostly cheese and COLD. They have no restaurant educate. 5 of us visiting, only 1 person got a full order in before the waitress walked away. We are all original from NY so we order fast but apparently not fast enough. The waitress never came back, my daughter had to find her. She returned with old browning guacamole pre-made for the day, and disgusting wet plates with queso cheese left on them all from god knows where. All of the plates came HOT with COLD food on them. What in the pre-made world is going on. The manager came back asking us to stay and offered to be our server but began to excuse the previous server saying maybe she was dealing with something. I have no problem with giving a break but this was just unbelievable and disgusting. This is still a restaurant/business and I'm still a paying customer.
A family of 14 shared a delightful dinner at Senor Patron. Server Bristol handled the meal expertly even with 2 diners who required gluten free options. A hearty thanks to all.
We went for our anniversary, we had a casual dinner this year. Food was alright… nothing exceptional. They were a little pricier than some other Mexican places in the area so we expected more. They had a good variety of margaritas. We were able to just walk in and get seated for dinner.
The server Beatrice was just horrible! From the beginning I had to ask her if she was ok…she treated us poorly, had an attitude the entire time. I will say the guava Margarita was delicious, the chicken soup was great BUT I ordered shrimp tacos and was unable to eat or as the shrimp was bad. She asked if I was fine as she saw all tacos in plate, removed and still charged me for the uneaten tacos. I will not be returning!!
Initially we thought it was just mediocre food but about an hour after our meal, we were both feeling quite ill. Aftertaste and stomach churning sick. If it had just been one of us, we could understand but not both. Did not share any items or order the same things. Will not be back nor recommend.
