I've been coming to this place since 2010. I've watched this pizza joint grow and develop. The pizza, salad, sandwiches and other goodies, have always remained consistent in quality and taste. This is a family-owned operation, it's what I wish more businesses possessed. It's just so hard to find 360° of quality service, food and atmosphere. Thank you, Romeo's Pizza.
In my experience, the ordering and pickup was fast and ready on time (1 star) and the cheese sticks were good (1 star). However, the pizza, wings, and zeppolos were below par. The crust, cheese, and sauce had minimal flavor. It’s football pizza. The wings were cheap and the sauce was clearly generic. The zeppolos were missing that crisp and had uneven dusting from the sugar powder. Unfortunately, I can’t see myself getting pizza from here again.
First time here for pizza so not sure what to expect. I asked for a base other than marinara and a white sauce was suggested. It was a great compliment to the anti-vegetarian pizza which was called Meat Lovers. Although order at the counter and delivered to the the table the staff checked on us 3 times to be sure all was okay. Beverages are self served. We will be back.
Me and my boyfriend had put in our order and sat at the bar inside until the pizza was ready. They had us waiting over half an hour for one pie pizza and it would have been longer had I not asked about it because not to our knowledge it was already ready just sitting on top of the oven. No one said anything or called out our name for the order. The lady who had taken our order was just aimlessly doing nothing and didn’t follow up with us. All the staff had seen us sitting there for a while didn’t even ask for an update if we’d been help. On top of all of that my boyfriend got food poisoning from it. NEVER AGAIN!
Fast, fresh and better toppings and even friendlier service than Fellini's. (They have a chicken topping option ??) I have to grab a whole pie next time I'm out this way!
I really love this place. I find most pizza places either overcook or use to much cheese on their pizzas. The crust is also very good. I love their Cesar salad and the wings are great too. It's a lot better than your franchise pizza chains and I love that its family owned.
Horrible service, last nightwe got to this place 15 minutes before closing we didn't know that, we ordered and we ask how long for pizza to get ready they said 10 minutes. There's when we find out that they were about to close. We ask if we could be able to eat our pizza there they said yes. We started eating in a hurry. Five minutes later they asked us to pack our food to go and leave, because they were closed and they have to clean the table. We had to finish our food outside on the cold. We could have gone somewhere else if they had told us we couldn't eat there.
Very nice pizza. I ordered the Margarita and the Cheese Pizza. They both had a nice crunchy crust. They both had a good amount of sauce, and the cheese pizza had a perfect amount of cheese on it.
I’m not a Pizza person and I don’t eat Pizza very often. Last night we got a large Meat Lovers pizza , Vegetarian pizza, Garlic Cheese bread and Jalapeño Poppers from this place and we were happy with the taste, quality and portion sizes of our order. The Meat Lovers pizza had a good amount of meat (Sausage, Ham, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage) and Vegetarian pizza also tasted fine. Both the Garlic bread and Jalapeño Poppers were also good. All in all, I don’t have any reservations in recommending this place if you are looking for a quick bite, dine in or take out.
Great pizza and awesome people working here. Reminded me of New York in every way. Lovely place to visit either to dine in or take out. I will certainly visit again and will recommend to family and friends in Atlanta.
