We enjoyed our dinner tonight. It was the first time trying sushi at this place. This restaurant run by Japanese couple. The atmosphere was cozy, friendly and relaxing. Restaurant owner was very attentive to the customer. Foods are amazing, fresh and flavorful. We enjoyed everything we ordered so far. Highly recommended and we definitely going back soon.

We had a wonderful experience at Daisuki Sushi Izakaya. The sushi rolls are absolutely amazing, presenting a beautiful journey of flavors. Our favorite was the tempura eel, but every one of the rolls we tried were very good. This is the first sushi restaurant that we've been to where we tried a number of different rolls and all of them were great. The miso soup was one of the best that I had, and had been made from scratch by the cook. I can also recommend the pan fried gyoza - perfectly cooked, and with a great taste. For desert, we tried the Japanese pudding, which tasted delicious. The owner Zach was super nice and made great recommendations from the menu, all of which we very much enjoyed.
A somewhat hidden gem. We were warmly greeted by the owners when we arrived. The menu was extensive for a smallish restaurant. I had Edamame and seaweed salad appetizers. Both were fresh and tasty.I sampled the spicy tuna on crispy rice crackers. More options were shrimp and avocado roll topped with baked eel and some Daisuki balls (eel inside a deep fried dough topped with a sweet brown sauce.)Each offering was better than the last. My favorite was the spicy tuna on crispy rice.The restaurant is kind of hidden in a shopping center. It's well worth the search to find it.
Hands down a lovely experience to say the least! Sushi, apps and dessert are all so delish and the owner and staff are truly a breath of fresh air. The owner is SO SO nice and truly cares about his food and his customers. They have great happy hour and specials on certain days of the week. I can’t wait to go back!
Absolutely LOVE this place. My boyfriend and I are regulars here not only because of the top tier sushi but also because of the staff. The owner and his family have been so welcoming since the first time we visited, he always remembers us and greets us with enthusiasm and makes it such a great experience. As for the sushi it is amazing as well, I have tried most of the sushi places in the area and this place has a good variety for a very good price. If you are looking for a casual yet 10/10 sushi experience this is the one for you, I could not recommend it more!
Best sushi restaurant in John's Creek/Alpharetta. After living in Japan this is exactly the quality of sushi prepared in Japan. All the popular American variety of sushi are available as well. So happy to have found this place!
I came here with my girlfriend and we were fortunate to be the only people in the restaurant and were treated with tremendous care. Great combination of more Americanized and traditional dishes and sushi rolls. Fish was fresh and fantastic, particularly the salmon. The price is fair and reasonable for sashimi grade fish several hundred miles from the ocean. The owner was great, made us feel at home while at the same time presenting an authentic presentation of Japanese sushi culture which is incredibly pleasant to be a part of. I left satiated and smiling, glad I was able to find traditional sushi and support a family business that treated me like their number one customer on my first time in the restaurant. Absolutely a fantastic place for a date:)
Daisuki Sushi Izakaya is a hidden gem! My Fiancé and I tried this place out for the first time and loved it so much! The food was absolutely delicious and atmosphere was nice and cozy! Also our server was so sweet and attentive! We will def be going back to try some of their other dishes on their menu! If you haven’t tried this place, I highly highly recommend it!
Wife and I have been there a few times now. AWESOME food! The owners are a kind couple that obviously love taking care of everyone. Comfortable place, not fancy or pretentious. Absolutely best sushi in Johns Creek.
