We stopped to have a quick bite. I counted 5 or 6 employees, 3 tables had customers, all others were dirty full of dishes. We had to wait for a table to be clean. Ordered our food, was given plastic fork and knife because nothing was clean. Wait staff was sitting at end counter eating and one was playing music. No one was clean tables. One server clean a table and stacked all dish on a pile on another table. I have never been to a Waffle House so dirty.
Food was NOT made the Waffle House Way … that’s the whole point of the ALL THE WAY HASHBROWNS !!!!!New or not it’s not hard at all to look at a menu and see what all goes on it.
This was the friendliest staff and Judie was absolutely fantastic. My only issue was that the AC blew on us and our meal got cold in just a few bites.
I am a simple guy in the mornings, grits and eggs just like my mother make it. Satisfied all day.
We eat at waffle house a lot... and this one was cleaner than most, but some how had some of the worst service. I ordered hashbrowns scattered covered and chunked, they came loaded with onions. My husband ordered cheese grits, and the grits were so cold the slice of cheese was just in broken up pieces and never melted. My youngest son had just gotten done with baseball practice and was thirsty, so he drank his 1st drink pretty quickly after it was put in front of him and didn't get another refill til after we were completely done eating. I got my waffle that came with my all star breakfast after everyone else was almost done with their meal, and only then bc we asked for it. It was cooked on time, but had been sitting on a plate and was cold from sitting there so long. Butter didn't even melt. We ordered 1 kids waffle, one plain double waffle, 2 all star breakfasts, one had cheese grits and one had hashbrowns scattered covered and chunked, and 4 drinks. Some how our bill was $50. By the time we paid, my husband didn't even fight it. We were ready to go.
I have been sitting at this store for 45 minutes. It was great to order a drink and food but then food arrived 5 seconds ago and still no drinks. When you ask for assistance they ALL look at you like your crazy. I worked for this same company for 3 years and never saw such poor service. We even asked other staff for drinks and they refuse to help each other.
Was there this morning and ordered 2 egg plate with large bacon. The cooked fried 2 pieces of bacon and gave me 3 pieces that were sitting there on a plate with 2 pieces of sausage God knows how long it been there. Very unprofessional. I won't be going in there again. Matt needs to address this. Oh and the eggs were burnt.
Was visiting the storm one 12/02/21 was at the counter talking with another young lady. She tell me this isn’t her area to take my order so I begin to joke with her! Taylor comes jumping in the conversation talking “About if you don’t want me to service you then move”! Very rudely I ask to speak with manage because I didn’t appreciate her tone! So Steve comes being sarcastic and a few times I told him how nasty and disrespectful his staff member Taylor was being
Our server was super nice and made sure our needs were met. The food was excellent!
After having a terrible experience at the one other wafflehouse in Hinesville, I came to this one. I have to say, this location is night and day compared to the other one. This location is cleaner, the staff is friendly, and they work hard. It didn't take any more than 5 minutes to place my order and get my food, which was also a far better presentation on the plate. This location certainly.deserves a 5 star rating whereas the other location shouldn't even get 1 star. This is one of the best waffle house locations I have been to, and I have been to over 35 states.
