Our server was nice, friendly and patient. We were a party of 10-12 having a farewell lunch for a coworker. Portion sizes were good, prices reasonable, food looked and tasted fresh. Only 3 stars because I ordered the "Mango Chicken Salad". The word "mango" is in the title, listed FIRST but I had no mango in my salad but cheese which was NOT listed as an ingredient. I let the server know, he came back a few minutes later stating "no fresh mangoes today", then gave me a super sweet "mango" dressing . I should have been informed before they even made the salad and given the opportunity to choose something else or given a discount. That decision should not have been made for me. What if I were allergic to dairy? Simple communication could have saved them 10-12 repeat customers, they all said they wouldn't come back because of that... they "want what they paid for"!
Best Mexican Restaurant in the city by far. Good service and good food. Our 48oz Texas Margarita was also delish and didnt lack any liquor. Servers were great.1 bad thing, the food seemed a bit rushed. If you order 3 tacos, 1 will have a TON of meat, 1 will have very little, and the other will be just right. Same for the beans, I barely had any cheese in mine and my wife had way to much.
Solid Tex-Mex style food with excellent serving sizes for an inexpensive price. Catch a special for sure! Superb service - fast, friendly, helpful! Sweet tea is semi-sweet. Great place for a quick and tasty lunch! Great atmosphere and decorations.
I can honestly say every visit is a good visit. I only recently started going to rodeo in the last few years and every visit my service is always pleasant, and the food is always more than I expect. I also have an unnatural love of guacamole and the guacamole they have is one of my favorites. Thanks rodeo..
Extremely disappointed by the service, food quality, portions and pricing.Waiter was very rude and also brought wrong order.Was charged normal price with something that was advertised as cheaper for a daily special.Will never return.Highly recommend people to eat at el Cazador up the road.
Extra geat service! Great flavor on chicken enchilada filling. Corn tortillas texture may be authentic-but did not care for it.
This little place was awesome!!! Very cute, service fantastic! The waitress went out of the way to help my dad. Large portions..very good prices! Will go here every time I visit mom and dad.

First time in Rodeo Mexican Restaurant. I have to say the ambiance is welcoming and charming from the moment you walk in and until you head out. I ordered the Trio Enchiladas, they’re to die for. For the drink I ordered a Marga-Rona, loved it. The service I received was amazing, the server was knowledgeable and professional. I’ll definitely come back.
The service wasn’t great, but wasn’t terrible either. The food was just awful. I ordered the shrimp taco and I couldn’t eat more than a bite, my husband got a beef burrito and the meat tasted soggy and old. The chips and salsa were really good though.
