The ice cream was pretty good. But halfway through, I found a hair that was definitely not mine. I understand mistakes happen but it’s gross. Regardless of your feelings about mask wearing, it seems unreasonable to require everyone to wear one when they don’t have any to offer to customers who don’t happen to have one on hand. The staff seemed disorganized and talked about the customers before me who disagreed with their mask policy and the staff came off very arrogant. I would seriously reconsider how this business is run.
I love coming here. The girls are super awesome! The ice cream is so good and the jasmine green tea is my absolute favorite!! They’ve always required masks, it’s a simple request, people feel so entitled. Keep doing ya thing !!
I used to LOVE the rolled ice cream at this shop & was a regular visitor. Customer service was always great too. However, I will never patronize this business again due to their ridiculous stance on masks & refusal to serve anyone without one. There’s no excuse at this point for continuing to support the lunacy.
No mask in 2022? Then you're not getting served. Fully vaccinated with boosters? Better have your mask. Ridiculous, everywhere else is fine with no masks but Polar Sweets has to take the low ground and join the section of the public still terrified by a virus with a 90%+ survival rate. Not how you run a business.
My favorite ice cream, bubble tea, and poke bowl spot ! It's a delicious experience every time I visit. They're also offering ordering over the phone, online, and through Uber Eats, as well as various other food delivery services. It's great to have so many options for ordering
One of my favorite spots in Hinesville! I am personally a big fan of the milk teas and they are always so quick when I go. All the workers are so kind too and really enjoyable to talk to. Definitely recommend.
Customer service, or lack there of, is pretty bad. I'm surprised owners have not addressed the issue as it seems to be a pretty common complaint on their reviews..Unfortunately, we were turned away twice since we didn't have masks. However, one would think the large sized acrylic dividers would be sufficient enough..They'll probably require 2 masks before too long while everyone else is following the lifted mask mandate??♀️
The staff is not nice. It seemed like they didn't want to be there. I was sad that they did not allow dining in. I got ice cream with my kids so we could sit and enjoy ourselves together. And when we got home to eat the ice cream it all had a mild taste to it. And two of the ice creams tasted just like vanilla and not different. I won't be returning here. Very expensive for generic brand tasting ice cream.

I've tried Polar Sweets 3 times so far. The first time I had the rolled ice cream. It was yummy and presentable, but wasn't my thing. The second time I got taro boba tea. The boba tea doesn't taste authentic which is a disappointment to the various bubble tea shops I've frequented in the past. I tried them once more. I ordered a tofu poke bowl. I was pretty shocked to find that the tofu is not cooked nor seasoned. It's literally white and tastes so dreadfully plain and squishy. It was obvious that this is tofu taken straight out of the package as is. Don't expect it to be yummy crispy fried tofu like I did. I asked for the sauce on the side and they didn't put any lids for each of the cups and placed them inside of the poke bowl so they spilled which was a bit messy. While I was paying, a few employees were trash talking about a prior customer. Lastly, they don't offer face masks for customers who don't have one. I don't think I will be back.
