We were told by the hostess there would be a long wait (15 - 20 minutes) to even get a table because they only had two servers (we did have to wait about 10 minutes beforehand while she took a telephone order at the bar before she even came over to the welcoming booth). In fact, she suggested we might want to go elsewhere. As there were just the three of us we decided to wait it out. Apparently more servers clocked in because our wait was only about another 10 minutes. The server we had was OK. The food was good (hot, fresh, correctly cooked).
We had to wait a long time, because it was very crowded.When we did get seated we had just about given up and ready to leave.We were there to grab a quick bite, so we ordered the chopped salad, with eggs and grapes.This was accompanied with the wheat bread and butter.While we waited for the baked huge mushrooms covered with cheese.Our Waitress was attentive and really kept up with all our needs.We paid with a 25 dollars gift card, and these photos were taken after our meal.Yep the waitress and trainer from longhorn gladly shared details about the famous longhorn.These photos all depicted the longhorn.
The three stars are only because the hostess DID NOT write our name down to secure our seating order and others were seated prior to us.I ordered the 6oz sirloin with shrimp and added a 4oz lobster. The food was okay, however my steak was slightly overcooked. The waiter was friendly and efficient in order accuracy and refills.
Absolutely love the dining experience inside, but them carry out girls need some better training with being less rude!! Maybe the cooks as well. Food was awful. Manager is great though!!
The food and drinks was great! I ordered the wild west shrimp appetizer and for my meal I had the steak and lobster tail. It was a Saturday night so they were extremely busy and plus I was with a party of 12. The service was still amazing thanks to Chad and Carl. Also the bartender was on point I ordered the strawberry margarita long-pour!!! It's definitely a place to go to if you want a good steak dinner locally!!!!
Very delicious ribeye!! Hell I might even go back today for another. Definitely get the parmesan crust with onions and mushrooms on top you will fall in love!
The service and food is great, one of the better restaurants in the area! We tried the stuffed mushrooms appetizer and the spicy chicken appetizer which both are really good, then we got some renegade steak and grilled shrimp plus some side salads and all was well worth it! Didn't get any photos though. Sorry about that.. ? Definitely recommend!
My daughter & I went to have dinner today at local restaurant. Our server was fantastic. Her name is Hailey. We ordered our food & it came out within minutes. She apologized that our soup nor salad was ready & did we want something else. We said no we still wanted soup & salad . In less than 5 minutes she brought salad & said soup still not out. So we said just make to go. Asked for stampede cake to be told no longer have. So I ordered lava cake to go . Took about 10 minutes to get home & made coffee to have my dessert. The cake was very dry & lava frozen. I love Longhorn but this is the 2nd time I’ve gone there in less than a month with same outcome . Steaks over cooked & side’s lukewarm. First time 3 of 5 people at our table had to send food back. We got a discount but that does not make up from over cooked food & sides being cold. This is 100% kitchen problem not a server problem. Please fix your kitchen !!!!! A customer that wants better food served.
A 12oz ribeye thin cut cooks really fast. I'd give this steak a 3 star because it was supposed to be med rare. The steak was a tad tuff but the overall meal was good. Server's were a little slow but it is the holiday and I'm understanding in that regard. Maybe the next steak will be a 5 star keep at guys.
Our waitress was over-sat and we were waiting a bit before anyone got to us to say that she would be right with us, the manager Caroline noticed right away and literally took over our table pretty much. I would say everything ended up being great in the end. They took great care of us and definitely made up for the mistakes which is always good in our book! Thank you!
