There has not been a time I can say I was not happy at firehouse. Even the staff cuts up with me and we don't even know one another. Thanks yall. I enjoy each and every visit.
I went into Firehouse subs after I got done with shift to place an order for a fellow firefighters going away party. To start with, I waited about 5 minutes before anyone came out from the back room to take my order, with only one person sitting in the lobby eating. I asked about possible discounts regarding active duty firefighters. I was quickly instructed that they do not give discounts for active duty firefighters. I was astonished, as the civilian Fire Department (Fort Stewart) has previously had Firehouse sub cater events in the past issuing discounts for firefighters (really isn't an issue if we didn't get a discount). I replied with, so if we were civilian firefighters then this wouldn't be a problem??????? What is the difference, here is my unit patch and the detachment that I belong to, we are firefighters as well. At that point he went into the back to get another worker. A female then came out to answer my questions and said "Oh yes, we offer discounts for firefighters" referencing a drink. I then stated I would like to order 4 standard packs and was wondering if there could possibly be any discount on that (again, if not it wasn't a big deal.) I stated that I would need them for pickup the following day. The female work stated that she didn't do catering that it was only the General manager who handled the catering and she had left the day and wasn't picking up her phone. I was instructed to call back at 0830 even though the store didn't open until 1030, that the General Manager would pick up and be able to help me with my order. Therefore, against my better judgement, I did as instructed and called back promptly at 0830. After speaking with the General Manager, she told me she was unable to complete my catering request as they need a 24 hour notice. I explained how I had tried to place my order yesterday, although I was turned away and instructed to call this morning. I was very disappointed and left in a huge bind. This is the first time dealing personally with Firehouse subs and well to be honest I am never going to go back again (for our departments needs or personally). After hearing that I had no food for this afternoons engagement, I had to quickly go to pizzas as no other sub shop could completely my request on short notice. Again, super disappointed, frustrated, and irritated with how the Hinesville GA Firehouse subs run their store. The reason I tried Firehouse subs was I heard it was run by fellow Firefighters supporting other fellow firefighters.
Food is always hot and comes out fast. The turkey bacon ranch is the item I tried last. It came out perfect I will be going back.
Never again. Paid almost $60 for four sandwiches only to have half our items missing , ingredients on sandwich missing, and quality like this?
Service was great, haven’t really eaten here in a while so I wasn’t up to date with their menu and how to order so the assistant manager at the register was very helpful in assisting with me with my order. The tea didn’t really taste all that, not a big problem I just switched it out for coke. I got my food and it was great but I didn’t get the pickle so I asked an employee for one and he was helpful getting me one and gave an extra one to compensate for missing my pickle. 5 stars thank you will be back

1st time, in Augusta with my daughter and grand, it's what she wanted so I grabbed one too. It was the best I've ever had so I searched for one locally in my area and found this one. Wait time is horrendous in all of them, but the subs are extraordinary, especially in comparison to others I've had, they actually turned me off from them until D-Day.
