The person taking the order forgot half the order on the way to tell the cook the cook and was too busy on his phone not to burn the food. The other person working there dropped a coffee filter full of coffee Grounds on the floor Left it there and tracked it through the restaurant. the floor was very nasty Dirty gloves Food another trash all the way through the restaurant.
8 people in the restaurant with the cook and 2 servers yet only one 2-seat table was clean (3 counter seats and 2 tables occupied). Night shift doesn't know how to clean or clear tables. this is not the 1st time. took 20min before the cook asked the servers if either had acknowledged us, they both said they were busy. they complained about not getting tips but spent more time on smoke breaks and looking at their phones than doing their job. our order was finally taken but called out wrong, the cook brought it to our table & when I told him what we ordered he had the server to repeat our order (she wrote it down correctly)... she just said it had been a long day. While waiting for our food, all others left so there was only 2 of us to wait on. No clean up was done. 2 more individuals came in but had no clean seats available... one lady ordered her food to go since the servers weren't interested in cleaning up the mess and the other walked out.

I was in Griffin, Ga. visiting s friend and we decided to have breakfast at rhe Wafflehouse before I left. The staff was very friendly and the food was prepared exatly like I wanted. Over rare steak and eggs. The steak did not "moo" and try to climb off my plate. But was served close enough. The grits were served the only way a southerner knows how. Great! Will go again when I go back for a visit.
Good service and good food should have a senior citizen discount.
Never had a bad experience at waffle house that wasn't fixed immediately or taken care without an issue, food is great and service is always excellent.

Restaurant takes phone off the hook on Saturday and Sunday to avoid to-go orders. You have to go in and wait on your order now. Unfortunate for them as I have always applied a $10 tip on to-go orders.
Friendly staff, food was quick and good and this is one of the cleanest locations we've been to. Kudos to the staff!!
