Inside the restaurant were two people one was a young lady who was pregnant and a young man. There were no other customers but one table who had two men talking. When I first walked in the 1st thing I noticed was people on their phones, 4 tables were dirty and the floor needed a much needed sweeping.The young man that served was willing to make alterations to menu selection making substitution being we are vegetarian. Although he never once smiled he was very calm and polite. With two kids meals( $5. Each) and a regular plate cheese eggs, hashbrown, toast and meat ( 3 things added to the hashbrowns) and two drinks was $24.00 or so. They do have a jukebox but it's not like back in the day. It's a digital one. It's no longer 4 or 3 songs for a dollar it's now 2 for a dollar.I lifted or dropped my debit card there and came back the next day or two and it was in the office. So there is a level of integrity with the staff.
I went in for a to go order I go at the same time twice a week and get the same order. I know pretty much all the employees on night shift usually always nice and I leave a good tip they all know that! UNTIL Tuesday night I think her name was Michelle or Melissa idk she has long curly dark hair and wears a lot of make up STOLE MONEY FROM MY MOTHER!!!! I went in Tuesday night ordered something different (it was my mothers) I didn’t leave a tip bc my sweet mom only had 25 dollars on her card the total was 24.20 so unfortunately I couldn’t leave the tip and the woman seemed really angry didn’t give me utensils butter syrup nothing!!!! Today my mom got a overdraft charge leaving her in the NEGATIVES! This has been notified to the police! CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS PEOPLE!!! She gave herself a 50 dollar tip!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m a waitress I know it’s hard and frustrating when ppl don’t tip but I never steal another persons money EVER!!!! It happens all the time ppl don’t leave tips on to go orders…. I rarely get tips on to go orders at my job. And I always tip them really good at Waffle House again CAUSE IM A WAITRESS I KNOW HOW IT IS!!! Long story short ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS CROSS OUT YOUR TIPS IF YOUR NOT LEAVING ONE THIS WAS SO DISAPPOINTING!Side note: the morning shift people were very nice and helpful this morning they felt bad about the situation, but I will be in there to speak with the thief myself tonight!!! Friendly staff and great service.The restaurant was clean and sanitary. The restrooms were clean also. Attentive service by the waitress. The food was excellent for a Waffle House. The only complaint we had was the staff was not wearing masks. We would come back to this place.
I wouldn't give this place a star but there wasn't any other option the employee in this one are so rude and disrespectful never wanting to do there job. Something always wrong there. Oh and the new store looks good and clean because they want let people in after 5:00 pm
Lovely staff this morning. Got there and placed my order and had it out with in 10 minutes. Great job.
They never answer the phone so you can’t place a to go order.
I enjoy the Waffle Hose menu and experience,But this particular facility did not meet thewaffle House standards. The server was sweet but a bit slow. Luckily the place was almost empty. Would hate to see what it's like when they are busy. Our eggs were good and done to order, but sausage, bacon, and toast were all crunchy. She forgot my waffle. I'll visit a different location next time in Griffin.
My daughter and I went to her doctor appointment and went by the Waffle House on the way home. I enjoyed having breakfast for dinner. My daughter got the patty melt and hashbrowns. All of it was very good.
The girls that work there are all fabulous and they always get my food right, and I'm picky about my breakfast foods.
Placed a to-go order and Roxi, and Sharon were the only two ladies working there but they're the friendliest, and really good workers! Hopefully no one gives these ladies a hard time. They deserve to be recognized.
