had the lobster ravioli tonight and it was exceptional!
A family restaurant handed down thru the generations from grandmother to grandson. and those secret family recipes to make the food flavors wonderful. Located on RT 16 in Griffin Georgia. A very pleasant dining experience. Very friendly staff, treat you like family, excellent service. Loved the extra touch of table cloths on the tables, the painted glass panels to give it that European Mediterranean feel. We ordered a large deluxe pizza with everything on it , a glass of wine, house salad, iced tea. The pizza was amazingly loaded up with extras of everything, nice crispy thin crust, lots of meats, cheese, veggies. The cost was very reasonable. Our bill came to around $25. Plenty of parking, very visible from the street,
would not suggest not very good food.
Love the pizza, Spaghetti, Alfredo, and rolls! Pierre is a fabulous host. Oh, and the house salad dressing is to die for!!! ?
The food was very good and portions were sizable. Once we were seated, the service was good, but we had to stand and wait several minutes before we even saw any of the wait staff. I'd say they either need a more attentive host or a louder bell when the door opens to alert the staff in the back that someone has arrived. Overall, we enjoyed it and will go back as it gives us a different option of restaurants in Griffin.
Food was wonderful it was so much I had a meal the next day. The service was great. Our Waitress was so much fun. She played Double or nothing on the Tip with me. Yeah she won. Lol
My family have tried this restaurant twice but last night will be the last time we ever go back.. Very poor service The waiter couldn't keep our drinks filled they were out of half of their appetizers. And the appetizers we did get was very small portions. The waiter forgot about our salads. It took forever to get our main course Meal.never Again will we be back
Apparently those who rated this place highly also enjoy dill pickles in their hummus and love carrots in their lasagna. They also enjoy overpaying for bland food and dining inside a run-down place with curtains from the 1970s.People who hate good food will most likely love this place. For everyone else, enter at your own risk and enjoy the stomach pains for dessert.
Our server Justin was great. The food (I had Fettuccini Alfredo) was really tasty, and the portions are huge so you get enormous value for money as well.
The food at Margo's is outstanding and they give you HUGE portions. We've always had good service. The owner/chef often comes out to talk, he is very friendly and seems to genuinely want you to enjoy your meal.
