Let me start by saying this was the last chance for longhorns in Griffin as I have NEVER had a good experience eating here. Then quite the opposite for Longhorns of McDonough, where I have NEVER had a problem. I really wanted to give more stars for this location but there's no way.The first time we ever came here the restaurant was not busy at all so we sat there for about 15 minutes and no one ever came to the table to greet us so we left.Another time we did a to go order and every single thing we had ordered was not right, also several things were missing. I had gotten so frustrated I returned everything and got a refund. This last time I called once a little before 9 and it was busy so I called again, it was like 9:05, to place a to go order because they close at 10 and they said I can't place a to go order they're not taking anymore customers?I've never heard of this. I've served pretty much everywhere in Georgia and have had people come in literally 5 minutes before closing and we still had to serve them.I wanted a bowl of soup and thought it was absolutely ridiculous he wouldn't take my order. This is going to be the last time I try this place, every other time we've been here we were treated rudely anyways so why would I go back?Don't get the lobster it's more like a shrimp.
Had a excellent experience tonight. From the time we arrived I could tell they were very busy but we were seated fairly quick. Chaz our server was amazing. He juggled quite a few tables at once. He was so attentive and thorough. Our food was prepared fresh and delicious. A1 service all around considering they were under staffed. The entire staff never missed a beat and were all true team players. The manager, Ashley was spot on in assisting in every area lacking. I really appreciate them going above and beyond to accommodate customers even while they were overwhelmed. That speaks volumes to me and management is priceless in instances like today. Job well done Longhorn (Griffin)?
Our server was great. However, about 30 minutes after I got done eating, I felt extremely sick. It’s been two days and I still feel like from eating here. Not exactly sure if it was food poisoning but the symptoms I have are very lined up well to it. Worst experience here.
Had lunch with co-workers. Our waitperson was on the ball. Quickly got drinks and orders. Food was cooked correctly and delivered quickly. Drinks never hit empty (a big deal for me).
I love Longhorn and I love great service. Today I was disappointed with the food and service. The bread had something on it look like mold. The onion in the tonions were tough and the steak wasn’t seasoned well. The server Jessie was complaining about the tables she was serving. She complained about not being able to bring us A-1 sauce because a big table had it all. She complained she don’t like serving big tables. I came to eat and enjoy my food. When you have a job as a server it’s your job to wait on tables and interact with people. This job is not for her.
Me, my boyfriend and our daughter went tonight for dinner. The timing wasn’t ideal for a “super hungry” 6 year old with no patience, but the service & food definitely made up for it! Our server excelled at her job, didn’t get a first name, but last name is griffin. She was completely amazing, made sure our drinks were full & checked on us every time she passed our table. I’ve never had a terrible experience here, but tonight’s service was definitely top notch! HUGE THANKS TO MS.GRIFFIN?
Took the family for 11yo bday. We all had steak that was cooked to perfection and Texas tonion for appetizers. It was the best out to eat experience we had in a while. Great service from Carly! Steaks was melt in your mouth! We really enjoyed.
It's was ok at best tonight. Our server Hunter was great. She brought out out food quickly, plates were never hot, and kept our drinks full. Hunter is the only reason for the 2 stars. The kitchen staff could definitely use improvement. My husband ordered the side of mushrooms with his steak, and they gave him 6 of them. Thankfully we weren't charged full price for that side. My plate had the most issues. My asparagus was extremely overcooked, steak was ordered rare and brought out mid-rare, and I added on a lobster tail. I got maybe 1oz of meat off of that sad $12 dollar "4oz" tail. The person expediting the food should have never sent that out to me. My beverage was under poured and okay. It wasn't the worst experience we have ever had, but we won't be going back anytime soon to overpay for an "alright" meal.
I would have given them 5 stars but, they don't know how to properly season a steak. So I don't even eat a steak here, I eat the wild west shrimp. Very tasty.
Ordered curbside pickup, check in is easy with text message. Multiple orders bright or to me correctly and all food was correct. Server was friendly and checked that everything was good.
