One of the better places to eat in Griffin. Locally owned, with a friendly staff. I’m still not sure how the guys that seat people fit in the mix. Why have all your wait staff look uniform, but let a couple of long haired high school boys wear shorts with compression shorts hanging out underneath? But I digress… best burger in town and the prime rib is awesome when you catch it on special.

The waitress tried her best I will say that. We had a large party (they had advanced noticed & were "ready" for us.) There were multiple order mistakes & mixups. The sides were truly lacking & the birthday guys steak was not cooked to order (medium was actually pretty rare) & was a fatty cut of what was supposed to be a "cowboy steak" meaning a very big & hearty steak. What was given was not that merely a fatty imitation. If this is the finest of Griffin, then a Texas Roadhouse will be top of the line.

Staff is very friendly.Drinks are generous. The food is certainly acceptable. You are going to like it but there is room for improvement.J. Henry's is 4 stars not 5 mainly due to the physical experience. The dining room is a bit "worn" and inexplicably freezing.

Went in for a family meal. We ordered fried tomatoes for an appetizer. The cheese had hair in it. We pointed it out. They offered no solution so we asked for our check. Not only was no solution offered but we were still charged for the fried tomatoes that we could not eat because we do not like hair. A little ridiculous. Trying a new place in town. They had decent reviews. Will not be going back.

Usually good food, usually good service, but no longer the professional, fine dining experience it once was. This last time we were greeted by host & hostess in t shirt, shorts and carring their iced coffees. Kinda sad casualty of the current labor market.

Husband and I went to dinner, ordered the calamari as an appetizer. When they brought it we ordered our entrees. We weren't even half way through the app and they brought my salad. Ok, started the salad, not 5 minutes later they served our dinner. Food was served way to fast to even enjoy!! I ordered the ribs, which were overpriced at $27, but I was hungry for ribs. I was full at that point so I ended up taking them home before I tried them. They were OLD, I mean they tasted old, were not fall off the bone as advertised. Would have sent them back if I'd have eaten them in the restaurant. Won't go back.

Really great food, Caesar salad was 10/10 also great service and patient, friendly staff

The food was very good and the service was great. Enjoyed the fried calamari and for dinner I had the smoked salmon salad and I had enough left to take home for my dinner the next day. They didn't skimp on the smoked salmon either.

You can thank Mrs Cooper for his 5 star review. She was has been our waitress everytime by request because of her amazing service! We always get the fried chicken salad and we love how she goes the extra mile to recommend different dressings for us to try and even asking if we would like to add a loaf of bread to take home. Love our waitress!

Well let me say what was good. The service was great, some of the food was good ie. Fried Green Tomatoes, Fried Mushrooms, Salad and most of the sides. The two Steakes we ordered was pretty much Raw didn't even have a char. Asked for Med. I'm not one to send food back. But I did take steak home and finished cooking it so wasn't totally wasted. The Salmon was good. My Daughter torn up the Baby Back Ribs so they were good. This is the Second time I have been to JHenry. First time the Steak was very good that I bragged about it. This time not so much. This meal cost me $250 so I was disappointed
