Updated from my previous 4 star review a few years back. This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant in Griffin. I would eat here weekly. It has gone downhill. I no longer enjoy the food or service. The last meal I had there looked like it had been regurgitated into my to-go box. It did not taste much better than it looked. Having a drive thru is nice but not if the food is bad. The service has also gone downhill.
Worst meal ever the order was wrong and it's definitely not worth it and if I would've checked my meal before I left I wouldn't had went all the way home and wasted my money for a disgusting meal which I ordered a braised wing combo with shrimp fried rice?the wings we're just fried wings without the actual braised sauce and the rice was dark brown with no vegetables or nothing ? definitely don't go there to eat cause they need to be shutdown asap??
For starters, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g tasted the same and it all tasted horrible. The Lo-Mein was mushy, the pork in the Pork Fried Rice was grisly. I had to spit out every piece. And the beef in the Beef Broccoli was tough and fatty. Again, had to spit out every piece of beef. I'm new to Griffin. I will continue my search for a good, authentic Chinese restaurant. Wish me luck!
So I ordered teriyaki beef with no onions and Mongolian beef. Instead of making the order without onions they just switched the side idea and sprinkled some of the crispy noodles on top of the teriyaki which was pretty annoying. Then half way through my meal I found this nice long hair so I’m assuming they’re not wearing hairnets while preparing the food. The egg rolls were burnt and they didn’t give us any fortune cookies. This is the last chance I’m giving Good City since it’s not the last poor experience I’ve had there recently. $26 down the drain, thanks.
Very odd place for a drive through, you can see where many a cars has brushed up against the building just to make a swing to get into it. Plus the lady that takes the order kind of rude and the food wasn't all that great surprised that they're still open after all these years
The fried rice was horrible. It was made with old grease or something. Worse fried rice I ever had.
We didn't like the rice noodles at all, but the curry made up for it
We eat Chinese every new years so we decided to try Good City.. Slow service and everything seemed reheated.
Wish I could give zero stars. My wings were half done. Will never go back
The Chinese lady is rude there no how r u very snappy she need to work on her attudie or put some one that know how to be nice food is hot but she is nasty
