Was craving one of those burritos that's the size of a tennis ball can, but all the decent Mexican joints open at 11am and I'm hangry at 10. This joint's open at 9 and a 4 minute drive from the hotel, so I go inside and there's a bunch of tables and a big menu on the wall of all the usual items: tacos, burritos, sopes, nachos, etc. Pick your protein (barbacoa, al pastor, chorizo, lengua, etc) and you're good to go. Ordered the beef barbacoa and five minutes later, I'm handed a styrofoam box that weighs at least 2lbs. This burrito is CHONKY: they slice it in half to make squeezing a lime or pouring sauce in it easier. It put up quite a struggle, but I could only finish half. Shredded sauced beef with refried beans, seasoned rice, avocado, sour cream, cheese. If you eat a whole one of these and are still hungry, you probably have a tapeworm. Around $11 but like I said, you could split this meal with someone or eat the rest when you're drunk at 2am.
Best butchery ever if you love to cook out!!! They are so welcoming & kind to you & so very helpful!
Food was excellent and authentic. Fresh ingredients, great atmosphere with helpful and patient staff.
Love the tacos, and you got a butcher shop in the back. Good place
The food is delicious and made when you order it. I love the tortas de asada with everything on them. The salsas are amazing. I wish i would have found this place sooner. ??
Awesome food and good service
Extremely slow, rude servers. It’s two teenage girls who would rather play on their phones than work. Our order is always simple and yet every single time the servers screw it up. They don’t give you your drinks you have to get them. They don’t listen when you ask for sauces or needed items to eat. I love the food here and the kitchen staff seem great and fast, but we pass this place up unless we’re feeling very patient.
Best authentic Mexican restaurant in town! It's a store too.
Great authentic Mexican food, great service!Coming back for more.
Excellent! The grocery section has a variety of spices, flavored tea bags, snacks, rice, dried beans, pastas, and other canned/packaged foods. The meat section is good too; it is small, but there is a good selection. We were specifically shopping for ethnic junk food (marzipan and chicharone de harina), but we also bought a lot of other items. We got some food to-go from the restaurant, and it was so good! You can choose the meat you want in each dish (there are pictures and descriptions on the menu, in case you don't know what something is). I got chicken quesadillas, my husband got tacos with beef barbacoa (slow roasted beef), and we ordered tamales (chicken, and pork). We had plenty of leftovers for the next day. My husband has lived in Latin America, and he said the food is authenic, and exactly what he was craving.Everyone was very nice. We will definitely be back soon.
