Wonder service from Susie! Great tasting appetizers, small and juiceless oysters on the half shell and horrible tasting entrees! We tried the shrimp and grit and the seared tuna for entrees ?
If you're not white, local and with other white people definitely avoid this place.If you like rude, grungy dudes at the hostess desk, slow service and a constant reminder how long the food will take for you...(aka they don't want to you to stay).this is your spot ...The GF and I walked in and instantly the vibe of the night took a nose dive, the grungy dude scolded the young lady trying to assist us, in front of us. Man it's 2022 I thought all the DB leaders were ran out of the food business already..As she cleaned and got the table ready he tried to tell us it will be a 30-40 minute wait for a table (trying to run customers off when you're open for 3 more hours) says a lot about you. We then asked why she told us she'll clean a table for us, he started tap dancing saying he meant for the food....rightWe were seated and another server came out, guess she was told to make it hard for us, so we would leave. After 2 cocktails, we did.Guess you have to be white and local to eat here..
Great little spot! The hubs and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Yellow Fin last week. I chowed down on blackened mahi-mahi tacos while he savored Spicy shrimp tacos. The sides were tasty and the price reasonable. The wine selection is sufficient and the service very good.
Very unwelcoming. When we walked in felt like we were bothering them. Server was okay, and better than the other one, guess we got lucky. At one point I thought,is this a membership bar? Seemed very clicky.Is it by design? the obvious error that they close at 6 pm on google maps? Kinda a disservice to your servers who may be wondering why the tables are empty????We live in Gainesville, and we had a special occasion that we did not want spend at a soul-less “Cheddars”. We are dinks and could have spent and tipped much more money had it not just been so unwelcoming. This place was so cold to strangers, we felt like we should have just gone to “Cheddars”. So much for going local. From this place, I don’t want to hear the whining when they need business.Food was okay, but without decent service, it pretty much sucked.
I eat here when I'm in the mood for really good seafood.its always perfect.the bar is one of the best in town.an old fashioned made well.oysters on the shell and fried scallops..definitely a place to go on a date or just for the best supper can't miss.enjoy your meal in some nice atmosphere.
Great place to go! joe the bar tender was great .they always have great food.the shrimp bisque soup was awesome .i would recommend
