I asked for crispy hashbrowns and they were limp and soggy. I wanted sausage gray on my omelet and they ran out of sausage gravy so I got country gravy instead. They put it in a small container on the side and it wasn't enough to cover the omelet. I asked for more and the girl just looked at me like she was confused. I will never go back to the IHop again.
We got seated with menu, got told server will be here shortly. 10min pass by since we started looking watch... because no one come s by to get drink or anything. Then after 10mins more later some lady hit table and greeted us welcome to ihop. Try to get her attention but she run off.So since we don't even have drink we got up to exit the restaurant.Then same lady said "have a good day" and went clean our table. I guess she was getting off or going break so didn't want to take table may be? I don't know.May be that's what u get at ihop Gainesville sadly.
This place doesn’t deserve one star. When your spending $80.00+ you would at least expect good customer service. I literally watched our server drop a stack of to-go plates. Then turn around and give them to us , you could clearly see the hair and dirt in the to go box. Our food took 45 minutes and the restaurant was empty. Maybe two other customers. I’ve never seen IHOP that empty before, but I see why. Just thought I would share my experience.
We hadn't been in almost two years. Food was good but prices have gotten high like everywhere else. Miss our favorite waitress who doesn't work there any more.
Way under staffed. The hostess wandered around the dining room wiping off tables (not too quickly). We waited for about 20 minutes for a table. The food was not stellar. Eggs were a little cold and one of the pancakes was overcooked. Our waitress was nice, but we got the wrong syrup and it took a while to get coffee refills. It was a little dark, not sure my coffee cup was stained or just not clean. I love IHOP but this was the worst. Maybe this was a one-off (visited at 11 am). I will visit other IHOP locations, but this was my last visit to this one.
It took 2 hours from the time we arrived to the time we left.The hostesses are slow and their appearance is sluggish and messy.The busboy is extremely slow. There was a long wait today I assume because the kids were not in school, but they had dirty tables everywhere and people waiting to be sat.Food and trash all over the floors. You're basically getting a partially wiped down table but the floor is filthy.We had eggshells in our eggs.Had to wait for refills, silverware, etc.We have come regularly for years; however the past 6-8 times we have had a similar experience.This is the last time I'll be coming to this location.
We had a long wait to get our food. We had a doctor appointment and arrived late. So get more employees to to more taking order and fixing food. Longer wait if we had sit down service was 20 minutes longer to be served. Hire more employees . We will go to a quicker service place.
This has been an amazing experience! There was a small wait, but it was well worth it! To start Jessica our server knows how to serve! She was super courteous, professional and genuine with her smile and service- Her patience with such a busy restaurant is what 5 star customer service is. So many businesses have failed at keeping customer care #1, and honor should be given where it’s due! I honor the service of the cooks because they delivered the meal cooked perfectly! Everything I asked for was exceptional, down to the cup of melted butter- A good service generates repeat customers and refreshing recommendations! I took the time to do this review because someone took the time to ensure QA was A1❤️Thank you ?The co- server was great as well! Energetic and polite!PS. I live in Lawrenceville and would drive back here just because of the great service and deliciously cooked food!Keep pushing for greatness IHOP!!
Great service by sweet servers. So busy and they were very attentive. Foods always great. Tip well as you dine out. They are working so hard.
