My husband had eye surgery in Gainesville and we asked the Dr where could we grab a quick bite to eat. And he suggested this place.. oh my. We used the drive thru. We got the double bacon cheeseburger and fries. Everything was fresh and delicious and fast! Can't wait to go back there when he gets his other eye done!
Double D Burger's breakfasts are great! The drive thru is behind the building, and it's a little awkward, but it's usually not too busy. I've only had a few burgers, but they were all pretty good. I didn't like the slaw on them, so if you don't want cole slaw, tell them that...It's worth a trip, especially for breakfast!
Some of the best biscuits I've had since my grandmas she used to make. Definitely the best mushroom swiss burger around also!
I like their sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. Go about once a week. Prices are good
Stumbled on this place for breakfast on an early drive to NC. Absolutely amazing biscuit. Ate it plain too. Good size, soft, moist. Didn't fall apart trying to eat it. Great balance between biscuit flavor with the durability of a roll. Seriously good biscuit.
Burgers were good the fries sucked and were cold. Got 3 single burgers with slaw and onions 3 fries and 3 waters it was $38. We won't be back again.
NOT only is this my cousins restaurant , but this food is absolutely amazing the staff is so friendly and I always get a belly full . Love me so Double D Burger ?
I used to eat at Double D so thought I would stop in today. I was very disappointed. I had ordered in the drive thru. I pull up to the window to pick up my order. One of the workers, the one with a sock cap, had a towel in her hand. She dried her hands then took the towel and cleaned her nose. That's just nasty, but especially in or world today. She then laid the towel on the counter as if it would be ok to be used again. After that we got our food and believe it or not there was a hair in my fries. Needless to say I won't be back.

We picked up lunch here two days in a row. The first day was so good we came back for seconds. Day 1 I had the Philly cheese and onion rings with unsweet tea. My coworker had swiss burger and onion rings. The onion rings were very good. The philly cheese was very good but very untraditional being served on Texas Toast. We came back the next day my coworker had the same order except with mac and cheese for the sides and I had the pork chop with mac and cheese and green beans. Pork chop was tasty but could have been more tender, mac and cheese was very good and green beans fantastic. My coworker also had a chili cheese dog.
