Really delicious donuts! They had a good assortment even when I went later in the day. The lady who helped me was very kind and the donuts are very reasonably priced. Definitely stop by if your passing through town. The apple fritter is good, so is the chocolate chip-chocolate filled donut square.
Great service! Came here today with my kids while my husband was having a procedure done at NE Georgia Medical and the lady at the counter was so nice. They even gave us a couple of the munchkin doughnuts for free in the box. Will definitely be coming back even though we live an hour and a half away! Great, fresh doughnuts and wonderful service. I have been buying donuts at Danny's ever since they opened. Their donuts are consistently fantastic. They are light and fresh every single time. The flavor is remarkable and I have tried every single kind they offer. I can never leave there without getting at least a couple of dozen donut holes to go with my other donut purchases. Their cinnamon buns and bear claws are absolutely my favorites. Saying that, please do not think that they are any better than their fresh apple fritters and filed donuts. Being a retired law enforcement officer I pride myself on knowing a good donut when I see and taste one. This shop originally started out in California and the owners are wonderful people and you can tell they take pride in their products. Try them out. You will not regret it. They also serve breakfast sandwiches that are awsome.
Ok. I am here to tell you that if you are visiting Gainesville you have to come to Danny's Doughnuts. If you have to have coffee from somewhere else then get it somewhere else. But you have to get your doughnuts here. I don't say this very often but YOU WILL REGRET NOT GETTING YOUR DOUGHNUTS HERE. I had to stay at the Ramada around the corner for work. Found this place and gained 12 pounds before I left the area.
