The buffet is no longer a buffet. One is allowed to go up once and get all the food one wants and not allowed to return. The lady, however, failed to tell us that we would be charged for every item we selected. We ended up paying more than if the buffet operated as a buffet while eating the same amount of food as when it was a buffet . The price difference should have been made clear before we selected our food. The woman there wasn’t very friendly and we will not return.
Went during off-hours (4pm), food was properly cooked, hot, and tasted great, fast service. For $7.50 you can get a "combo" that includes your choice from over 15 entre's, fried rice, one egg-roll, a large cup of soup (egg drop, hot-n-sour, or won ton), and two chicken wings. Nothing is overspiced, actually mild, so you can add flavors to your taste (salt, soy sauce, duck sauce, hot spiced mustard, etc.). Honestly, one order will feed two people, serving sizes are just that big. It's located directly across the street from Krystal in Gainesville Ga.
This place has gone downhill since pre Covid. My husband and I visit Gainesville alot and this use to be the Chinese place to go for decent food. They had all you could eat buffet, but no longer offer it. After speaking with the owner, they will never offer all you can eat buffet, again. This is one of the many reasons why we were repeat customers. After visiting recently the food was awful, the worst Chinese I have eaten. My husband also made the same comment. They have lost our business due to the above issues. It was so bad tasting that neither of us have wanted Chinese food so soon. Such a shame to see a decent eatery go down hill. I hope they raise their standards soon. The place only had one other patron eating and only one other patron came in for take out, while we where there this day. When normally the place would be busy.
I would never eat here, they charge people different prices for the same buffet based on skin color and do not openly post menu prices.
This place has gone down since 2020, Very dirty inside, less items to choose from.
A friend of mine and I walked in there and the person who greeted us (perhaps the owner) said that they were no longer serving buffet style but we were welcome to go through a hot table line once to take what we wanted for purchase. No thanks. We were looking for a buffet restaurant. This is no longer it.
really just what we were waiting to finish eating so we could leave and we didn't enjoy it it was very dirty there was no cleaning anywhere (my table dirty) I do not understand how the inspection has not caught their attention and people still go I hope and they improve even though I don't come back
